Gr's Summary
When the devil tells you to stop struggling, do you?”
From the moment Eden wakes up, she knows she’s not in Kansas anymore. She isn’t even on Mitch’s doorstep, her dark-side’s favorite place to dump her. No, she’s somewhere far worse. And far more sterile. Sometimes a girl needs to adapt, be flexible, change. And that’s exactly what Eden will do, all the way back to Mitch. No matter what she has to do to get there. Because his life depends on it.
Mitch has lost something he’d never thought he’d find to begin with. And “It’s better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all” is a lie. A lie people tell themselves to make the pain go away. But the pain doesn’t go away, not in someone like Mitch. It festers. It grows. Until it can’t be held back anymore, even by the bars of a cage.
*** Jekyll is a continuation of Mitch and Eden’s story and may prove confusing to those who haven’t read Book I. So why not go check it out? Heck, the first book is cheaper. *** This novel is also intended for adults, as it includes lots of cursing, biting sarcasm, and some truly evil people

The Way I See it

Jekyll holds true to Hyde, keeping with the fresh twist in this classic tale. The beginning of the story finally starts to fill some holes for us. The story is not solved right away, Jekyll keeps you guessing at every turn. This book lets us get to know some new characters in a closer more personal level. I became very attached to Mr. Landon, he holds secrets, and I’m dying to find out what they are. I love Eden’s character growth!  Woo Hoo, this is the moment I was waiting for! My AhHa! At one point Mitch calls her perfect, and though she doesn’t see it, I do.  Eden has done something no else has before, she combined her two sides melding Eden and Chastity’s best traits.  Nothing grabs my attention more than a strong female lead, and Eden responds to the call without hesitation. Even when she is faced with some really horrific obstacles that would bring anyone to their knees she resists. Unfortunately, it seems that Eden is truly alone.  Father, dead, Mother, dead, best friend, enemy, and love unrequited. She is given the opportunity to help Mitch and even though he has pushed her away, she knows there isn’t anything she wouldn’t do to ensure his safety.  Having no other choice she has to face her demons, thankfully this time she is more prepared, and able to really kick some butt back!! I don’t like the way Mitch behaves with such cowardice.  I really want him to step-up, and fight for what his heart wants, and we all know that's Eden. We see excellent character growth from Eden, and I know Mitch is next. I can’t wait for the next book.  I’m really looking forward to finding out what happens. I highly recommend this series.

My Fav’s

Landon

He is true, and mysterious, and I can tell he is going to be a major contributor to the next installment.  I cant hardly wait for it to come out.

Edenity (Eden + Chastity)

She has this no hold back attitude, and I can’t keep from salivating anytime she says anything. Her character is admirable to say the least.

My rating

4.5 Jekyll induced, caged, What the father stars! Go get this book and tell me what you think!!
