Review:

There is no better feeling in the world for a bookworm than to reunite with a cast of characters she calls family. I have officially been ruined by The Royals and I am irrevocably addicted to their story. If you are new to this series, the first three books follow Ella and Reed's all-consuming love story. When you start one of these books, the world around you disappears! Tarnished Crown is a wonderful gift that Erin Watt gave to their fans. It's a novella that you do not want to miss if you loved Gideon and Savannah in the first three installments. Fallen Heir follows Easton Royal and Hartley Wright. You will be absolutely mesmerized by their journey from the moment you meet them!

Easton Royal is about to meet his match! Hartley Wright is a mystery. She's playing hard to get and Easton Royal is always ready for a challenge. The last thing he expected was to find what he was not looking for. A connection so strong that turns his word upside down and makes him want more in life. When these Royals fall, they fall hard and they don't look back.

Fallen Heir exceeded of all my expectations! Erin Watt delivered another unputdownable reading escape that left me gasping for air! If you're not a fan of major cliffhangers, you might want to wait to read this book. The next one is releasing in January 2018 and it will be EPIC!!! I can just feel it! I'm getting chills just thinking about how Fallen Heir ended! My jaw dropped to the floor and I did not know what to do with myself.

Easton and Hartley compliment each other perfectly. They are perfectly imperfect and they have created a bond that completely stole my heart. Hartley put her foot down when it came to Easton. I loved Easton's flirtatious ways and how she resisted him. She accepted his friendship and that is the best thing that happened in Easton's life. Hartley was like a comforting blanket in Easton's world where he was living in blissful denial. I loved the chemistry that they shared and their addictive banter. They both have much to learn about each other and they grew so much as characters as their story evolved.

It was an absolute pleasure to reunite with the entire cast of characters and to meet new characters as well. I absolutely loved this series and I am so blessed to be able to read the stories that Erin Watt creates. I highly recommend this series if you're looking for your next binge read series. These Royals will absolutely ruin you!!! The struggle is real when it comes to the days that separate me from reuniting with my Royals. Is it January yet?

Synopsis:

I should've never agreed to this arrangement...

Thirty days ago, my boss—Mr. Wolf of Wall Street, came to me with an offer I couldn’t refuse: Sign my name on the dotted line and pretend to be his fiancée for one month. If I agreed, he would let me out of my employment contract with a “very generous” severance package.

The rules were pretty simple: No intimate kissing, no actual sex. Just pretend to love each other for the press, even though I’ve secretly wanted to knock that sexy smirk off his face since the first day we met.

I definitely didn’t need to think twice about this. I signed my name and started counting down the seconds to when I would never have to deal with his special brand of ass-holery again.

I only made it to one minute...

We argued the entire four-hour flight to his hometown, failed to make a convincing impression with the welcoming press, and right when I was about to knock that arrogant look off his face in real life? He purposely dropped his bath towel in front of me, distracting me with his nine-inch cock to "show me who the bigger person was" in our relationship. Then he gave me his trademark smirk once again and asked if I wanted to consummate our marriage.

Tragically, this is only day one.

We still have 29 more days to go...

Synopsis:

From New York Times bestselling author Penelope Ward, comes a new, sexy standalone novel.

It seemed like a good idea at the time. Look up Landon Roderick, that boy from childhood whom I’d never been able to forget—even though he so easily forgot about me—and call him.

Then again, anything sounds like a good idea when you’ve had a little too much wine before bed, right? It was supposed to be just a quick, meaningless, prank call. Instead, I went off on him—unloading thirteen years of pent-up emotions.

I didn’t think he’d call me back.

I certainly could never have anticipated the weeks of sexually tense phone conversations that followed as I got to know the man he’d become.

Turned out, Landon had never really forgotten me, either. That special connection we had was still there. I opened up to him, but there were also things about me he didn’t know. And he had his own secrets.

Over the countless hours we talked on the phone, I wondered what would happen if we actually saw each other. One night, I did something impulsive again. Only this time, I went to the airport and booked a ticket to California. We were about to find out if one phone call could bring two lost souls together or if my drunk dial really was all just a big mistake.

A complete STANDALONE.

Review:

When I'm looking for an all-consuming reading escape, Penelope Ward is on my list of authors that I turn to without a doubt. She always delivers all the feels and her characters are simply irresistible! When I read the blurb for Drunk Dial and saw the cover appear on my social media news feed, I was super excited to read about Rana and Landon's love story.

What would you do if somebody from your past would drunk dial you? Would you take it seriously or would turn the page on the past? Rana Saloomi never expected to see or talk to Landon Roderick ever again. Thirteen years have passed since that memorable friendship she shared with Landon. With a bit of liquid courage in her body, Rana makes the decision to look him up. Will it be a mistake or will that one drunk dial call change her life forever?

Once again Penelope Ward delivered a love story that made my heart burst with love and joy for the precious characters that she brought to life. Rana and Landon's life journey is one I will never forget. Both these characters have overcome many obstacles in their respective lives and I was mesmerized by how they crushed every one of those obstacles and moved on to make a life for themselves.

I loved the fun and flirty chemistry that Rana and Landon shared. Their love story was slowly blooming before my eyes and I was so happy for these two characters when they reunited and formed an even stronger bond that they already had. I absolutely loved the supporting cast of characters in this story. It was amazing to read about them and how they connected with Rana and Landon. This love story was unique, a breath of fresh air and inspiring! The little fun notes from Rana and Landon's past put a huge smile on my face and gave me all the feels! I highly recommend every single title that this author has published. Unputdownable reading escape guaranteed!

Synopsis:

Cockloft: A firefighter term used as a structural space above ceiling and below rafters, often connecting adjacent occupancies and permitting fire to spread laterally, often unseen.

Gabriel Martinez is the most arrogant and infuriating man I’ve ever met. He has a knee-weakening smirk that makes me want to kiss—no—slap it off his rude, sexy face. Judging by his ego, you’d think the hose in his pants is as big as the one on his fire truck. Not that I know anything about that nor do I want to. Nope, not at all. He’s already been forgotten like last season’s Michael Kors.

CeCe Kensington is as pretentious and spoiled as they come. The ridiculous purses she shoulders around are as big as her attitude. And don’t get me started on her mile-long legs or full, glossy lips that are meant to be wrapped around a guy’s… If she only knew the dirty things I think about doing to that sassy mouth of hers, she'd be hightailing it back to her side of town.

✿¸.•´¸✿*´¨) ¸.•*¨✿

When the beautiful boutique owner and sexy firefighter meet in the most unlikely situation, their two worlds collide, creating an explosion of misperceptions and combustible heat, trapping them in a fire they never saw coming.

Review:

I have only read one book by K.C. Lynn, but that is all that it took to make me fall in love with her writing style. That book was Beautifully Insightful, which follows Emily and Ryder. Emily is Cece’s best friend. Fans of the couple will absolutely fall in love with them again when they have a few appearances in Cockloft. I was really excited to find out that Cece was going to get her own book. I absolutely loved her in Beautifully Insightful and the way she drove Ryder crazy with her bubbly personality completely made me cheer for her!

Sparks fly when Cece Kensington meets Gabriel Martinez. The sexy firefighter is getting under her skin and she’s about to give him a piece of her mind. He’s been a royal pain since the moment they first met. Gabe is absolutely mesmerized by Cece. Their first meeting is unforgettable. She challenges him and he’s about to push all her buttons. Fireboy is about to show Blondie a blazing passion that is too hot to handle!

Cece and Gabe’s chemistry completely set my world on fire!! Their connection was strong, passionate and their banter was GOLD!!! It was fun to see them drive each other crazy ... lol!! Each scene that they shared was intense, captivating and absolutely unforgettable. I had the biggest smile on my face from beginning to end! Their love story is fun, sexy and romantic. Romance lovers all around the world will fall in love with Cece’s contagious personality and Gabe’s swoony ways. Their moments of passion will leave you fanning yourself and their romantic ones will absolutely melt your heart!

The supporting cast of characters was fantastic and I loved what role each of these characters had in the story. I really hope that Gabe’s brothers will each get their own book. We need more Martinez hotness in our lives!! I absolutely loved how family oriented Gabe was and how he worked hard to give them the very best. I connected with all the characters in this story and I’m so happy with how this story was written. I have read many enemies to lovers stories, but few are the ones that linger with me for a long time. Cece and Gabe scored a place on my top favorite couple list and I simply can’t stop recommending Cockloft to all my book sisters. They all need to meet Blondie and Fireboy ;)

Rating:

I give, Cockloft, by K.C. Lynn, 5 fun, steamy, all-consuming, romantic, falling irrevocably in love with your enemy stars!

Excerpt:

After that evening, I hadn’t heard back from him for a few days. Then, one night, a text came in from the same phone number I recognized as Landon’s. It was the first time he’d texted me.

I looked down to find he’d sent a photo.

I gasped.

It was a heavily tatted man set against the backdrop of the ocean at sunset. Oh, my. It was him—a selfie.

Fuck. Me. He was beautiful.

I wouldn’t have even known it was Landon were it not for the blue eyes I recognized instantly. The shaggy, caramel hair I remembered from the past was now a darker shade of brown and shorter, cropped closer to his head. His arms and his chest were inked, his body so perfect that if I squinted, it almost resembled carved stone. I couldn’t stop looking at him. My eyes wanted nothing more than to explore the ridges and valleys of his stunning body.

Was this a cruel joke?

This was not Landon!

But, it was.

With my thumb and middle finger, I kept zooming in and out, examining the details of the ink across his chest and on his arms. There was really nothing sexier than a guy with perfect arms and a full sleeve tattoo.

Even though his lips seemed fuller than I recalled, they still curved into a familiar grin that oozed confidence. The eyes and that smile were the only traces of the boy I remembered. I wished I could’ve leapt through the screen to smell him, touch him.

“Hi, Landon,” I whispered, for a brief moment talking to the boy inside, not the man in front of me.

This Landon was the polar opposite of the Ivy League yuppie image previously in my head. The only thing the man pictured might have majored in was badassery. He looked like a rockstar, a rule breaker, displaying a sense of arousing danger—someone who must have had women from all walks of life drooling over him for the sheer fact that either they couldn’t have him or shouldn’t have him. It suddenly became clear why, as he’d alluded to, a woman might have been begging him for sex. That made me wonder if he had any secret tattoos in spots I wasn’t allowed to see.

God.

A fire was burning inside of me, and I knew it was my crush exploding into a full-blown obsession.

A self-conscious feeling came over me. If I was scared to show him a picture of myself before, now I was really hesitant.

The message that went along with the photo simply read:

Now show me you.
