Meet & Greet Giveaway Hop with the Social Bloggers

Welcome to the Meet & Greet Giveaway Hop!

Come Meet & Greet your favorite bloggers and find a few new ones to love too! Enter the Grand Prize Giveaway then hop around and visit all of the Social Bloggers and learn some facts about them! There will be individual giveaways at some of the blogs so don't forget to stop by and say "Hi!"

✿ I have been published in a college text book on essay writing.  It was such a fun and exciting experience!  Professor Ingrid Schreck made me love writing, and feel more confident in my abilities to write.

✿ I have a Master's Degree in Education.  I loved College, and have amazing memories of ULV.  It's an amazing school!!!

✿ I married the most wonderful man, Bobby, and we went to Hawaii for our honeymoon, and fell in love with the state. I wish we could live there!  We have now been married for 7 years, and I hope one day we can return, and take our daughter Bella with us.

✿ I've died and returned from death 4 times, due to multiple pulmonary embolisms after I gave birth to my daughter.  I lived at Loma Linda Hospital in the critical care heart unit for 4 months, and then went to the rehabilitation center to learn how to walk and take care of myself again.  The Dr. said I'm a medical anomaly.  In other words, it was a miracle that I lived.  This was one of the hardest times in my life.  This event made me love my husband even more, and realize what a special man he is.  Our marriage grew even stronger after this.

✿ My 5 year old daughter, Bella, has Autism.  I have learned so much from her.  She brings me so much happiness and joy.  She truly is the light of my life.

*warning*
I suck at talking about myself but here we go!

✿ I used to be a bartender

I'm pretty crafty I like to make diaper cakes & wreaths

✿ I like to use stickers as a form of expression ;)

✿ I am blessed with a wonderful little boy whom I love beyond words.

I am engaged to the man of my dreams.

See pretty boring stuff ;) but there ya go! a little bit bout me :)
<3
~hugs~

-I have been married for 37 years, and known my husband for 40 years.

-I have a passion for singing and go to karaoke as often as I can.

-I did cake decorating for many years.

-I am dabbling in writing my own book.

-I love spending time with my baby granddaughter, Bella. She's the light of my life. I love watching her face light up when we swing on the swings and sing Disney tunes.

-I met my husband on a blind date, which was set up by my cousin. One month after we met, he told my cousin that he loved me and that I was going to become his wife. We have been married since Sept. 2007. I love you baby! <3

-My friends call me Mikki Crocker because I love to cook and bake. My spinach/artichoke dip, nutella truffles and Jello cake are a must at any gathering.

-I'm the middle child, and I freakin' love it!!!!

-My first job after graduating could have been with Cirque du Soleil, but my parents freaked out when they found out I had to travel non-stop and would never be home ... lol!!! I'm a social butterfly so just the thought of leaving all my family and friends behind was breaking my heart.

-Once upon a time I fell in love with a blog named A Bookish Escape .... and the rest is history! I love my co-bloggers!!!! <3 <3 <3

  2. Thanks for sharing some personal info about yourselves, Lindy, Ro and Mikki! It's so great to get to know you better this way. Lindy, Bella is gorgeous, and I am very happy you made it through your medical crisis after her birth so she can grow up with you in her life!

I don't really know which fact to share, so I'll share a few. I've been married for 19 years, and known my husband for 24 years. We want to go to Hawaii next year to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We have four children aged 9, 12, 17 and 19. They keep us very busy :) I went back to Uni in 2010, and just finished my Bachelor's degree in English language and literature, and general linguistics. I will start my Master's degree this fall, and hopefully also start substitute teaching.

    Happy reading to you all!
