Eeeeeep!!! What a super cute read! I highly, highly, recommend Only With You its my new favorite "office romance" centered book! The characters are so complex and lost but they manage to work out their issues. Ms Layne writes it flawlessly. There isn’t some dark horrible secret that knocks everyone on their but but their issues do come to ahead and I was absolutely crushed! Thats some stellar writing, my feelings were 100% invested in Sophie & Grayson. I loved the side characters as well down to the overbearing mother who only “wants whats best” for Sophie. I’ll definitely be following this series closely as its a new FAV of mine!!!
O-bligation, Sophie feels so completely out of her element. She has no choice but to apease the request that all the brides maids don trashy wear.
N-ightmare, the only thing more embarrassing than the ridiculous outfit she is wearing is being insulted by the very steamy very obtuse man with a glacier glare.
L-esson, being mistaken for a prostitute has brought a new prospective on Sophie’s life. Quitting her job at the local pub seemed like a logical if not haste step.
Y-anked, from her safe cocoon Sophie is ripped back into the elevator mishap that will change her life.
W-aiver, Grayson was expecting to never see that girl again. Seeing her in old jeans and a comfortable shirt surrounded by her family is a bit unnerving.
I-ndignation, perhaps confronting Sophie wasn’t so great of an idea but she unbalanced Grayson and set him on edge.
T-rust, offering Sophie a job will be his undoing but she has a way with him that actually makes him smile.
H-elp, meeting his siblings and his siblings taking a liking to Sophie warms his heart in a way he didn’t think was possible.
Y-earning, denying his feelings is no longer an option Sophie makes Grayson feel again its time he take a chance.
O-blivion, the gentle relationship between Gray and Sophie is now dust in the wind. Sophie is tired of living for everyone else its time to buckle down and find what makes her truly happy.
U-nchained, reserved and closed off was the way Gray expected to live his life until a little tornado of energy whirled about him and changed everything. Gray has made mistakes and knows he will again but he refuses to ever lose her.
Soooooo cereal super sweet! There was a weird moment where Brynn, Sophie’s sister dated Gray but luckily it ended up being just fine. This book is a great way to spend an afternoon. Like I stated earlier there wasn’t a deep and shocking earth shattering revelation, but one wasn't needed. I loved the story just the same. Sometimes its fun to read a well written entertaining book that pulls the reader into the pages. I loved the story line and the characters, combine that with Layne’s lovely writing and you’ve got yourself one heck of a read. So awesome we even got some great foreshadowing towards the next novel and I can’t wait to get my hands on it! Ms Layne has a hit on her hands I’m looking forward to the direction of this series and the wonderful writing.
Grayson
He was kind of a grumpy bear most of the time but its not without reason. We find out about his past and through a series of painful events we now have the man he is today. Its not easy but its understandable. Aside from being a bit abrasive and awkward with the social cues he was absolutely huggable. ;) Hey that’s what Sophie was there for right? Yep the chemistry between these two felt genuine. I really enjoyed the way they fell in love it was all very sweet. Let me tell you when Gray messes with their shaky at best relationship my stomach hit the floor. I could feel Sophie’s pain, even though it sucked it really helped her grow. Grayson has always worked hard towards his goals and he was not intending on letting Sophie go for one second. He made great strides towards becoming a better man I absolutely fell in love with him right away. He was exactly what Sophie needed.
Sophie
A peach, a plum, a pear, a flipping ball of sunshine, this girl can charm the rattler off a snake. Something about Grayson brings out a different side of Sophie. At first her goal was to get under his skin(which made me lol a lot) but somewhere along the line she found her self absolutely comfortable and open around him. Much like he was towards her. Their relationship was refreshing. Sophie’s past was not nearly as painful as Gray’s but always pretending to be perfect finally took its toll on her. Deciding what to do with her life always seemed like a looming punishment but with Gray’s help she will discover that and so much more.

Only with You, by Lauren Layne, was an entertaining, romantic, fun and addictive novel! This was my first time reading a book by Lauren Layne, and let me tell you that it won't be my last! I really did not know what to expect. It took me less than two chapters and I was hanging to every word! Her writing style is captivating and her characters are fascinating! From the moment they met in that elevator in Vegas to the ending of their journey, which left me with a heart bursting with happiness, Sophie and Gray's love story was a breath of fresh air!
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, right? Sophie Dalton wants to forget about that embarrassing night in Vegas. The night when a sexy stranger mistakes her for a prostitute. After that night, Sophie needs a new beginning. When her new boss turns out to be the stranger she met in the elevator, and her sister's new boyfriend, Sophie is left speechless. Working close to Mr. Icicle won't be easy, but Sophie is determined to make her boss come out of his shell.
This was an amazing reading escape! Sophie and Gray were awesome characters to follow. I loved their story from beginning to end! I loved Sophie! It was so easy to relate to her and I loved her sense of humor and how lovable she was. She was a ray of sunshine in Gray's cold world. I have to be honest and admit that it took me a few chapters to get used to Gray's behavior. He was more quiet than the usual alpha males that I love to read about, but he nonetheless stole my heart just as much! I absolutely fell for him just like Sophie did. It was slow, but intense all at once!
The banter between them was amazing!! Gray is a man of few words, but nobody got him fired up like Sophie. She suffered from a chronic case of verbal diarrhea whenever she was around him. LOL!!! I love this girl! She was funny and she knew exactly how to get under his skin. Holy Hot sexual tension!!! OMG!!! These two have some serious chemistry going on!
Only with You had an amazing cast of supporting characters that I loved as well. We got a glimpse into what we can expect in the next installment of The Best Mistake Series, which will be Made for You. I'm super excited for this next installment and I can't wait to see what's going to happen! Trust me when I say that you don't want to miss this series! I highly recommend it!
Overall, this is exactly the book that I needed to start my vacation, and I had the best time reading about Sophie and Gray's love story filled with swoony, steamy, fun and heartwarming moments! <3
