Lexi has finally given up her once destructive relationships and moved onto bigger and better things with a sexy new man in town. Just when she is starting to figure it out with him, her world is tilted once again with a phone call from none other than Ramsey Bridges. A year after his entrance into her life, Ramsey is trying to make amends and does the one thing she never expects—invites her to Jack's wedding. The wedding she had evaded at all costs. But no matter what she does, Lexi can't seem to escape her past with Jack. But does she really want to? Despite the explosive chemistry between Lexi and Ramsey, she is skeptical about trusting him after everything that has happened. When things are amiss with him, she starts questioning his motives. Can Ramsey be the one to remove Jack from Lexi's life permanently or should she move on with her blossoming new life?
The Way I See It
Can I just start by saying K.A. Linde...Does NOT disappoint!! Avoiding Responsibility is AH-MAY-ZING!!! So, like if your looking for a soulful gut wrenching sob story with near suicides and murders this isn’t it. However, if your looking for fun and flirty, and omg, and drama, The Avoiding series takes the cake! In my previous review, I mentioned that Alexa had some issues, well, she straight up, back roundhouse kicks those issues in the FACE! Jack is still a jerk, and just when you think it can’t get any worse, he surprises you with more bile creating nausea... Real quick for the girls that were rooting for Jack to turn it around...I told ya, I told ya, I told ya! K, sorry about that...Moving on, Alexa has come a long way in her life to where she wants to be. Throughout the book, you can really see just how much she has grown, and how far she’s come, to get where she is. So, a lot of stuff happened to Alexa. She finds out somethings about Ramsey and is heartbroken. I’m not going to go into their issues cause I want you to read this book, like now, go on, go! She has a new love interest, and the entire time, all I could do was try to figure out who he was. Well, I for one, did not have a clue. Speculation yes, but nothing concrete. When that bomb drops, holy cow... WTF?!! Beep, Beep, Beeeeep! Sorry about all the cursing but I had to get it out! Okay quick recap... Bekah and Jack were made for each other. Ramsey and Alexa, love them. Chyna never ever disappoints. I think I’ve mentioned I want to be her, still do. ;) Adam...well, you’ll see. Parker...Ugh! I.Want.To.Kill.Her. Mostly out of jealousy, but whatever. My little green eyed monster is cute, so, she’s allowed everywhere I go. ;) The point...Loved this book, and I know you will too!
I.LOVE.ALEXA. Talk about finally! Jeez, this poor woman has been through heck and back, all courtesy of one grade A jerk face! I was so happy to see her grow, and the way she was there for Chyna. This girl just plain rocks.
I.LOVE.RAMSEY. Aside from the obvious reasons; like gorgeous and delectable, ... he has a heart of gold! Even though he drew the short stick in the sibling category, he is still amazing! Maybe he could have done some things differently, but I think they were all for the right reasons. *sigh*
4.0 Coffee Shop, Fun, crazy, mini skirts, and shot filled stars! I.LOVE.THIS.BOOK!
