Gr’s summary
 MY KISS CAN KILL.

I used to be ordinary Samantha Day, but that's changed. Now, after one dark kiss from a dangerous boy, I can steal someone's soul...or their life. If I give in to the constant hunger inside me, I hurt anyone I kiss. If I don't...I hurt myself.

Bishop is the one whose kiss I crave most, but if I kiss him, I'll kill him. Then there's another boy, one I can't hurt. One whose kiss seems to miraculously quell my hunger. They're both part of a team of angels and demons that's joined forces in my city to fight a mysterious rising darkness, an evil that threatens everyone I know and love. I just wonder if I'll be able to help Bishop-or if I'm just another part of the darkness he's sworn to destroy....

NIGHTWATCHERS

When angels and demons must work together, something beyond evil is rising..

The Way I See it
I’m one-hundred percent sure I’ve said this before, but I’m going to say it again. The more a book makes me feel, the more I will love it...  Wicked kiss made me go through every possible emotion there is.  Michelle Rowen does a beautiful job of making me feel like I'm walking down the streets of Trinity with Sam.  I really enjoyed how she had the characters play out.  Samantha was told from the very beginning that she was special...different.  We thought we knew why.  We thought it was because of who her birth parents were. Lets just say, that was just the tip of the iceberg.  At the end of the first book, something absolutely insane happens, which leaves you like OH.CRAP.  Now what are we going to do?!  Lol, yes I said we.  M. Rowen makes you feel like you are part of the action. You know when you break a glass, and you're like, whew... at least it was only one...just to find out the rest are chipped?..  Yeah, poor Sam has to deal with some really crazy things.  I love that even though she is constantly fighting her hunger, she perseveres,  and is relentless in her will to give up.  She knows what she must do, and does not stop until she accomplishes it.  Another tell-tale sign of an amazing book is the ending...  How do I feel once it's all said and done?  Well, aside from balling my eyes out, and hugging my kindle, I was jumping for joy...  Seriously.  I stopped the treadmill at the gym, did a little jig, and did not give a hoot who was looking at the crazy dancing
crying girl...lol!   After I regained my composure, it set in...You know who?.. Mr.UGLY.Mr.LONGING.Mr.NOOOOOOO.  They say if you truly love something, you have to let it go.  Guess what?  I’m SELFISH.  I want MORE!!  Me, me, me, me!   See I’m selfish, ugh!   I love these characters so much, I don’t want to let them go.   (Fingers crossed for another book!!)   M. Rowen does a good job of wrapping everything up, nice and tidy like. ;) However, with a nexus, surely there are unforeseen troubles...
My Fav’s

Samantha Day

I'll start off by saying that even her name is awesome... As a girl, I want girls to kick butt, it's in my nature.  Sam gets it right in this one! She’s tired of being a victim, so she gets out there and makes it happen! No longer a weakling, not a super hero either.  She is still just a girl who wants answers, but awesome nonetheless! I’m so very happy she finds out once and for all who she is. Truly.

Adam Bishop

At first I was like, you have got to be kidding me! This guy is a REAL.JERK.FACE disguised as an angel.  I was like, “Don’t you dare give him your heart Sam!"  "Don’t do it!”  Sam believed in him, and I’m glad she did, because I had some serious doubts.  In the end, what he had to do, and what he did, won this little lady right over. It was that Aw moment that makes your heart swell. High-fives and such! All around!

My Rating

4.75 Hollow Daddy, Nexi Lexus, Frenemy-filled Stars!!! Seriously, get this book! Then, tell me what you think;)
