Book Summary:

When Honey Perribow traded in her cowboy boots for stilettos and left her small Kentucky town to attend Columbia University, she never expected to find a dirt-cheap apartment or two new best friends. No stranger to hard work, Honey’s sole focus is a medical degree...until she sees newly-minted Professor, Ben Dawson, and her concentration is hijacked. Honey is fascinated by her gorgeous, young English professor and vows to find a crack his tweed-wearing, glasses-clad exterior.

While at an off campus party, an accident lands Ben in a dark, locked closet with a sexy-sounding southern belle...and their chemistry is explosive. But when he discovers that the girl in his arms is the same beautiful student he can’t stop thinking about, he is stunned. Student-teacher relationships are strictly forbidden…yet no matter how hard he tries, Ben can’t stay away from Honey.

And when his attempts to fight their attraction nearly ruin the best thing that ever happened to him, Ben will do anything to prove how much he needs her.

Lindy's Thoughts:

The Broke and Beautiful Series by Tessa Bailey has been such a fun, light-hearted, and entertaining read.  I really enjoyed the first story in the series, Chase Me, but absolutely fell head over heels in love with the second book in the series, Need Me.  This series is based on two sets of friends.  The girls are roommates, Roxy, Honey, and Abby, and the leading men are best friends Louis, Ben, and Russell.  In Chase Me, we got aspiring actress, Roxy, and businessman Louis' love story.

In Need Me, we get Pre-Med Colombia College Student, Honey Perribow, and English College Professor, Ben Dawson's love story.  Honey has a huge crush on her English Professor, and plans to seduce him.  She finds him irresistibly sexy, intelligent, and intriguing.  When her roommate, Roxy gets a leading role, Louis throws a party with their closest friends to celebrate.

Honey goes downstairs to get chairs for the party, and Ben ends up accidentally locked in the dark janitor's closet with her.  Honey recognizes Ben's voice, but he's never heard her speak, and doesn't realize she is one of his students.  One thing leads to another, and Honey and Ben end up making out.  However, when the door is opened and the lights are turned on, Ben is horrified when he realizes that he made out with one of his students.  He has plans to put the lying "Lolita" out of his mind, and avoid temptation, lest it cost him his career.  However, attraction sizzles between Honey and Ben.  Their desire for one another grows, and the more they get to know each other on a deeper level, the harder it is to resist the intense and magnetic pull that they feel.

Need Me was such a sensual and sexy read.  Ms. Bailey drew me in to this story completely, and I loved every moment of it!  The chemistry between Honey and Ben came to life by the vivid wordplay, and heart-pounding imagery that Ms. Bailey artfully put in to play.  Honey and Ben were well-developed and extremely likable characters.  Honey was fun, determined, hard-working, intelligent, and entertaining.  Ben was a sexy book nerd, who made a few huge mistakes, but redeemed himself.  The secondary characters were a joy to revisit, and I am really looking forward to the next story up, Make Me, which will be Abby and Russell's love story!

My Rating:

I give, Need Me, by Tessa Bailey, 4.5 Erotically Evocative, Exploding Electricity, Exultant Obsession Filled Stars!  This story was an excellent read.  Readers who enjoy sensual, fun, and light-hearted New Adult Romance will enjoy Need Me!  Fans of Cora Carmack's Losing It, will be thrilled with this sexy, decadent, and delicious reading escape.

Mikki's Review:

Oh my world!!!

Tessa Bailey’s second book in the Broke and Beautiful series, Need Me, was a fantastic reading escape! It’s deliciously hot, fun and heart-melting! Prepare for some major ‘’swoon attacks’’ coming your way! Professor Ben Dawson will leave you in a state of mush!!! It’s time to go back to school peeps! When I read Chase Me, which is the first installment of the Broke and Beautiful series, I got to know Honey Perribow and Ben Dawson pretty well. Honey is Roxy’s roommate and Ben is Louis' friend. What I love about Tessa Bailey is that her characters are so well developed. I feel like I know them even before I read their own book. I knew that these two together were going to be explosive! A word of advice...prepare your fans and forget about the panties because Need Me is sinceriously wickedly hot!

Need Me is a forbidden teacher-student romance that will leave you cheering for Honey and Ben. What I loved about Need Me is how Ben fell hard for Honey. He fell in love with her words first before he even knew who she was. When he discovers that Roxy’s friend, Miss Perribow and the sexy blond Lolita in his class are the same person he is totally captivated by her. She owns his every thought and drives him wild. The beginning of their relationship is complicated. Ben knows that he can’t fall into temptation. Starting something with Honey is the last thing he should do, but his desire to be close to her is making him take the biggest risk of his life.

You won’t be able to resist Honey and Ben! They are so freakin’ addictive!!! Their banter is amazing and their chemistry is out of this world! If you have read any book by Tessa Bailey, you already know that her sex scenes are seriously hot!!! There is no exception in this book *Fans self* Honey is a strong, determined and sassy heroine and Ben is a dirty talking, panty-melting professor that will keep you on the edge of your seat from the very beginning! I have to admit that I wanted to virtually slap Ben a few times during this story. Grrrrrrr!!! I wanted to reach into my reading device and grab him to let him know that he was acting like a douche noodle!!! Poor Honey!!! My heart broke for her when he tried to push her away. Thank God he redeemed himself in the most beautiful way! What I absolutely loved in this book is all the letters and notes that were written. They all had their place in the story and I loved every single word!

I’m a big fan of Tessa Bailey. I have read her books a ridiculous amount of times. I’m really scared to admit how many times... lol! I can’t help it!!!! Her stories are my security blanket. Whenever I am having a bad day or just want to get lost in a book I always go back and reread them. Her stories and characters are so easy to relate to. I want to be friends with all these amazing characters! They have each stolen a piece of my heart. Abby and Russell’s book is up next. I can’t freakin’ wait!!! Those two are so adorable together!!! I could already feel their connection in the few scenes that they had together. If you are looking for a NA book that will give you all the feels Need Me will deliver!

My Rating:

I give Need Me, by Tessa Bailey, 5 fantastic, fun, smokin' hot, panty-melting stars!
