Gr’s Summary

So far, life in Peachville has been tough for Harper Madison. She's survived attacks on her life, learned how to control her magic, and met the most gorgeous boy — who also happens to be a demon. After her latest stunt at Brighton Hospital, the Order of Shadows is determined to tighten their control on her life. So when a future Prima from a nearby demon gate comes to town, she and Harper decide to use magic to switch places at a party. All Harper wants is to have a little fun.

But the night will end in blood.

And Harper will find out the attack was meant for her..

The way I see it

Okay, okay, Bitter Demons is anything BUT bitter to me, Lol! Now is when all of the awesome action begins to take place. Harper starts to really tap into her magic, and this action packed novel is hard hitting from beginning to end. Jackson is still aloof but he finally starts to open up. Though Harper has her doubts, she really starts to embrace who she is and stands up for herself... We all know she rocks and in this installment we learn what she’s willing to risk to help her friends. I cannot say this enough as far as killer awesome female leads go... Harper is top notch! We find some things out we wished were true, and certain characters reveal their evil intentions. This was a great read from beginning to end! We met some new key players. Every character finds a way to touch you whether you hate them or not. Sarra Cannon has a way of making everyone “real” and that's extremely difficult to do.

My Fav’s

Caroline

She was one of those characters you wish were a real person: pretty, fun, and down to earth. Caroline accepted Harper right away and genuinely wanted to be her friend. With everything going on in Peachville, Harper needs as many friends as possible.
Mary Anne

At first there was something suspicious about her... Then your like, “Oh W.T.F.? Seriously?!” Then it's... “Whew, well at least she did that.” By the end of the book I realized what type of person Mary Anne truly is and that's what got her on my Fav’s list.

My Rating
4.5 Harper kicks serious A** filled stars! I highly recommend this book so go on out there and read it!
