Beautiful Demons (Peachville High Demons, Book 1) by Sarra Cannon

The way I see it

I'm going to be honest in saying, I was hesitant about this book. It just didn’t seem like something I would read and I didn’t connect with the cover, or the story line... Basically it was... “Not my style.” After our blogs own Lindy recommended it to me several times, I knew I had to dive in. This a fast paced read where one moment your on page 10 then you only have 10 pages left. Once I was done I thought to myself, WOAH! I didn't see that coming! Lol. With me thats saying a lot! I was pretty hooked right away! Harper is a troubled girl, she has one final shot to adapt and adjust to life in Shadowford. When she first arrives she meets Mr. Perfect Senior Quarterback, and finds out there is a lot more than meets the eye in Peachville. This story has core elements such as Love, Betrayal, Growth, Imprisonment, Empowerment, Sacrifice, and did I mention Love?

  4. I had the same worries about this book. Only mine were that I was worried it was going to be rushed because she wrote it during her pregnancy and then finished after the little one came. Well that is a pretty impressive book to have written with all that going on. Love the blog and good luck with it!!
