My Thoughts:

I was thrilled when I received Wicked Sexy Liar in the mail.  I have loved every book in the series, and just knew that this story would be no exception.  I tend to devour the books in the Wild Seasons Series, and I was looking forward to a guaranteed great read!

London Hughes works hard as a full-time bartender at Fred's in the evenings.  This leaves her all day to indulge in her passion of surfing with the rise of each new day.  She is excited to be growing close and finding a place to belong with her roommate Lola, and new friends Mia and Harlow.  London isn't interested in getting involved with a man, after her first and only love broke her heart, when she caught him cheating on her.

Luke Sutter has become a manwhore.  He was madly in love with Mia for many years, and after the devastation of their breakup, has stayed clear of commitment.  Instead, he focuses on his basic sexual needs and rarely sleeps with the same woman twice.  When he meets London, it is a game changer for him.

She is the first woman that fascinates Luke, and makes him yearn for more, since Mia.  However, with Luke's womanizing reputation, London is determined to steer clear.  They may share a tempting attraction, but she is not willing to risk heartbreak.  Then, when Luke starts to break down her walls, London learns that he is the long-term ex and first love of her new friend.  Can London move past Luke's past with Mia, and prove to London that he is able to change his womanizing ways for her?

Wicked Sexy Liar was an addictive read.  I loved the main characters in the story.  Luke and London were both very vulnerable and authentic characters in their own way.  It was beautiful to see them both facing the demons of their past, and making room for healing, and happiness.  Together, these two had such a wonderful dynamic.  They developed a great friendship, had a lot in common, and brought a whole lot of fireworks in the passion department.

Secondary characters Lola, Oliver, Mia, Ansel, Harlow and Finn were a welcome addition to the story.  I also loved getting to know Luke's Nana who loved to tell embarrassing stories about him.  However, his older sister Margot, was one of my absolute favorite characters!  She was always honest with him, and didn't mind putting him in his place when he needed it!  Yet, she was also a loyal and loving older sister.  I would be so excited for her to get her own story.

My Rating:

I give, Wicked Sexy Liar, by Christina Lauren, 4.5 Sexy, Seductive, Tantalizing, Finding Your Soulmate, Healing Your Heart, Game Changing and Life Changing Stars!!!  Team Christina Lauren bring readers another excellent story in the Wild Seasons Series.  This is a series that I highly recommend, and it is one of my all time favorites.

About Christina Lauren:

Yes, there are two of us! Lauren (on the left) and Christina (on the right) have been writing all kinds of stories together since 2009. Separated by the pesky state of Nevada, these co-author besties talk several times a day, agree that Ruby Pumps is the best nail polish color ever, and would, if given the choice, spend all day staring at the ocean from the San Clemente pier.

Lauren Billings (but everyone calls her Lo) has a Ph.D. in neuroscience and before she made writing her full-time job, would spend her days doing nerdy research-type things wearing a lab coat and goggles. She is silly Mommy to two littles, wife to one mountain biking homebrewing scientist, bestie to a shoe-stealer, and an unabashed lover of YA and romance.

Christina Hobbs (but you’ll always hear Lo call her PQ) used to spend her days in a junior high counseling office surrounded by teenagers. Married to the cutest boy in school, she has a thirteen year old daughter, is an unapologetic lover of boy bands and glitter, and also likes to steal Lo’s shoes.
