GR's Summary:

Despite their rowdy hookups, Harlow and Finn don’t even like each other...which would explain why their marriage lasted only twelve hours. He needs to be in charge and takes whatever he wants. She lives by the Want-something-done? Do-it-yourself mantra. Maybe she’s too similar to the rugged fisherman—or just what he needs.

Wild Seasons Series:
My Review on Sweet Filthy Boy Here

My Thoughts:

Woohoo!  Steamy, Sexy, and Funny!  Dirty Rowdy Thing will be sure to steam up the lens on your eye wear!  This dynamic duo can write with the best of the best!  If you enjoy Alice Clayton and Emma Chase, you really need to read the stories written by author team Christina Lauren.  These authors stand on a very exclusive and talented tier, when I think of the best erotic romance with the perfect amount of humor.

In Dirty Rowdy Thing, we get Harlow and Finn's love story.  Harlow's the fun, outgoing, party girl out of the group.  She has a very small and intimate close circle which includes her family, and best girl friend's Mia and Lola.  She comes from a wealthy and successful family, and has been very fortunate to have a special relationship with her dad, mom, and younger sister.  However, her foundation of happiness and stability gets shaken when she finds out that her mother is very ill.

Finn was married for a total of 12 hours to Harlow, when the two of them got trashed in Las Vegas.  These two had the hottest sex of their lives with each other, however things didn't end so well when Harlow surprised Finn with a visit in Canada.  Now, Finn is in San Diego on business, and will be there for weeks.  He is having his own problems to deal with.  The attraction and chemistry between Harlow and Finn is still abundant, and these two decide to use sex with each other as a distraction.  However, what happens when sex turns in to something more?  How can a relationship between two very different individuals, residing in different countries ever work out?

Talented Team Christina Lauren write the most sinfully seductive and decadent love scenes!  The verbal foreplay between Harlow and Finn was fun, flirty, and utterly hypnotizing.  The friendship between these two blossomed and matured into a thing of beauty, which had me rooting for them to find a way to make a relationship work.  Mia, Ansel, Lola, and Oliver are back in full force from book one, and make for an entertaining, likable, and memorable cast of secondary characters!

My Rating:

I can't wait for Lola and Oliver's story next.  Each of these couples are endearing, and such a fun group of friends!  The Wild Seasons Series is a favorite of mine, and when team Christina Lauren write together, they make magic!  I give, Dirty Rowdy Thing, by Christina Lauren, 4.5 Explosive, Passionate, Fun, and Hypnotic Stars!

About Christina Lauren:

Yes, there are two of us! Lauren (on the left) and Christina (on the right) have been writing all kinds of stories together since 2009. Separated by the pesky state of Nevada, these co-author besties talk several times a day, agree that Ruby Pumps is the best nail polish color ever, and would, if given the choice, spend all day staring at the ocean from the San Clemente pier.

Lauren Billings (but everyone calls her Lo) has a Ph.D. in neuroscience and before she made writing her full-time job, would spend her days doing nerdy research-type things wearing a lab coat and goggles. She is silly Mommy to two littles, wife to one mountain biking homebrewing scientist, bestie to a shoe-stealer, and an unabashed lover of YA and romance.

Christina Hobbs (but you’ll always hear Lo call her PQ) used to spend her days in a junior high counseling office surrounded by teenagers. Married to the cutest boy in school, she has a thirteen year old daughter, is an unapologetic lover of boy bands and glitter, and also likes to steal Lo’s shoes.
