The way I see it
Eeeeeeeep!! OMG y’all have no idea how much I’ve been anticipating this book! Let.Me.Tell.You. It does NOT DISSAPOINT! Lana and Blake are smoking hot! Ms Le Carre knows how to write a steamy scene! This is one you won’t be able to put down. From the first page to the last it will keep you riveted. The book starts off a year after the ending of the last and we find out everything that has gone on since that fateful day.
F-inances, Lana and Billie have a plan. The ultimate goal will be to have an honest and better life.
O-pportunity, Blake finds his missing little bird and he will make her pay for the pain she has caused him.
R-eality, Lana loves Blake with all of her heart. Her betrayal had to happen in order to protect Sorab.
T-hrown, back into the lion’s den, Lana loves Blake and the amount of pain he is causing her is excruciating.
Y-earning, Blake has discovered Lana’s secret now he knows he cannot cause her any more harm. Lana is unaware why and hesitant about the change yet her love for Blake won’t allow her to push for the answers she seeks. Yet.
2-, powerful parties are playing a lethal game. Blake’s father has a key role in so many terrible dealings. He is gunning for Lana next she will once again be faced with an impossible situation.

Gah!!!! I have a very bad feeling about a very bad man who is going to be very p.o’d but in the mean time three cheers for Blake! At the beginning of the story my heart was shredded to pieces. Blake’s agony definitely resonated and became a tangible thing. I wanted Lana to confess everything to him all of her loses and the pain she experienced at the hand of his awful family. In the end I’m glad she didn’t, it was better that he find out on his own so Blake could see exactly what his family had caused. The book wasn’t as long as I would’ve thought I would’ve liked but it turned out to be perfect. There is no denying the way these two feel about each other so I was happy that Ms Le Carre did not drag something out that didn’t need to be. There are plenty of shocking and heartfelt moments. Billie is the same vibrant person we have come to love and Jack is ever present and ever mindful of Lana. Her friends have gotten her through some doozies. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this series!!! I CANNOT wait to see what is in store for this power couple! #i’llBePacingTheFloorUntilThen

Blake
Duh! This guy is downright drool worthy! He is the same domineering and controlling powerful man we know from the first book. In this installment we see a different side of him an angry and vengeful side that is absolutely heart breaking. Not only do we feel his heartbreak but we get to experience his road to mending and embracing his heart’s desire. We get glimpses of very endearing moments which are nice, but mostly he is his usual super sexy self. I can’t wait to see what other challenges he will be forced to overcome I will be cheering him along!
Lana
My heart goes out to her even though I wanted to shake her I understood her plight. Lana has been through so much heart ache, yet she has this incredible ability to love. She knew that she hurt Blake very badly but she was willing to make sacrifices to ensure she paid her debts. I admired her for the person she became and her will to be everything that Blake needed.

Georgia Le Carre lives in England, in an old 19th century romantic cottage surrounded by a magical garden filled with fruit and walnut trees. When she is not feeding words into her laptop, she is either curled up in bed with a box of chocolates and a good read, or lost in a long walk in the woods. Especially on moonlit nights.
