Synopsis:

Five years ago, Embry Jacobs ran...

She ran from a past that still hasn’t let her go, but her dream of becoming a lawyer is stronger than her fear of confronting that past. Embry’s sole focus is to get through law school—with the help of her best friend, Morgan—and make something of the broken girl she became. Not thinking about falling in love, being in a relationship or even entertaining the idea of romance, Embry is moving forward one day at a time.

Luke Brody is charming and sexy, and has a past of his own. He wants nothing more than to put his demons to rest and move on with his life. But, when Embry enters the picture, is he destined to repeat those same mistakes?

Blindsided by their instant attraction, neither Luke nor Embry are prepared for the feelings they’re developing. But will it all be for nothing?

Will they let their pasts destroy them, or will they risk everything to fight for their relationship when it all comes undone?

 My Review:
Noooooooo!!!!

I need the second book in this series like .... Yesterday!!!!! To calm down, I ate a ridiculous amount of Heavenly Hash ice cream. That ending?!?!?! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!! Ok, let me calm down so I can try to review Undone. I don't want to give too much away because this story has a few twists and turns that are key to the story.

I want to start by saying that R.E. Hunter did a fantastic job on her debut novel. Wow! I am so happy that I got the chance to discover and review Undone. This was a great first novel and I can't wait to see how this story will unfold. By my reaction you probably guessed by now that this book has a cliffhanger. Well, don't let that keep you from reading it! Embrace the cliffhanger and indulge in this awesome story. ;)

In Undone we follow Embry Jacobs and Luke Brody *Swoon* Embry is a law student who has been running from her past. Five years have passed from those events that made her run far away from her family and friends. She decides to come back to her hometown to start a new chapter in her life and begin her first year in law school. Luke has been also running from his past. A past that he wants to forget and the only way to do so is to leave and start his new life in another city. At the beginning of the year Embry meets Luke. One look from his piercing blue eyes and a dose of his southern charm is all it takes to make her feel alive again. After a few encounters, they can't deny the attraction between them anymore.  Soon enough Embry and Luke will have to deal with the consequences of their decisions and the demons from their past that are slowly rising to cause trouble in their relationship.

I loved Embry and Luke's story! It was emotional, intense, sexy, romantic and captivating. There are two jaw dropping moments in the story. The first one came when I found out what one of the main character was hiding and the second one ... OMG! Just thinking of it I get nervous again!!!! The freakin' cliffhanger  O_0!!!! I was like ''What?!?!?!?!?!?! Oh No!!!! This can't be good?!?!'' My heart broke for Embry in her moments of pain. With everything that happened in her past, Embry finally felt safe with Luke. Her confidence was back and she felt good about her future. When she actually feels safe enough to bring her walls down it all backfires on her. Their journey has many obstacles that they will have to overcome.

I really loved the characters in this story. Embry, Luke, Morgan, Brett and Jeremy all have a special place in my heart. I loved reading about them and they all feel so real to me. Embry and Luke have this amazing chemistry. You can feel their attraction from the moment that they collide and the more they are together the more the chemistry is intense. These two are steamy!!! Just thinking about some scenes ... *Fans Self* Morgan (Embry's BFF) and Brett (Morgan's BF) are funny, adorable and the kind of friends everybody wants in their life. I don't know what R.E. Hunter has planned for Jeremy, but I really hope he gets his own book. I love him to pieces! His sense of humour is contagious and he has so much charisma. Oh, and he's hot too! ;) Once I started reading Undone I could not put it down! It's a real page-turner!
My Rating:
I give, Undone, by R.E. Hunter 4.5 passionate, romantic, sensual, fascinating stars! I'm really anxious to read the sequel. I am positive that R.E. Hunter will deliver another amazing novel!

  7. I love the old southern accent and ways. I married a "Southern boy". However, I think it is ALWAY the individual "boy" not where he is from that is important.
