Falling Synopsis

Sometimes it takes someone else to show us what we are truly capable of becoming.

Suffering from years of violent abuse, Ryan Campbell has learned how to keep people from getting too close. But when you shut yourself off, people get hurt along the way. Never caring much about others, Ryan creates a world in which he doesn’t have to feel.

When Ryan meets Candace Parker, all of his walls slowly begin to crumble. Not sure of the truth of who she is, he feels his mind is playing tricks on him. Unable to force out the thoughts that consume him, Ryan is haunted by visions that torment him every time he looks at her. He finds himself swallowed by guilt and blame, but he’s unwilling to turn his back on the one person that could possibly save him.

You’ve heard Candace’s story in Fading, now hear Ryan’s.

The Way I see it

I was so looking forward to reading this book let me just say, Ms. Blair has done it again. I was captivated by Ryan and his pain, there are people who are hesitant when it comes to reading alternate POV's I'm NOT one of them. I do however understand their hesitation, I will say Ms. Blair makes it so your reading an entirely different story. I definitely recommend this series.

*Warning*

This book certainly isn't light, it deals with a two very
difficult subjects full of pain and anguish. The types of things that ruin innocent souls. There are a lot of raw and powerful emotions this will pull from you but...

Every

Single

One

Counts

Seriously. I'm not gonna sit here and be all, blah blah blah. FACT. e.k. Blair is an artisan. FACT. Every character will carve its way into your heart. This is DEFINITELY a must read. Ryan takes the cake, he shows us another side of the story and what happens beyond. The ending was… **Sigh** and I tried really hard not to cry but there was no way.

Good News! They were good tears!

I seriously tried really, really, hard to keep the tears at bey but there was no way. I probably lasted about .3 seconds before the first full tear fell, then it turned ugly quick. Seriously people you need to read this.

F-rightened, a young boy hurt and tormented by the man who was supposed to protect him. Ryan lashes out, he will not stand by and watch more pain inflicted on his mother.
A-lone, Ryan has never wanted anyone, afraid of what he may become he pushes everyone away. No one has ever broken through his exterior and he is perfectly content that way.
L-ife, has been a series of events, in his adult life none of them have mattered until he meets her. Candace manages to get under his skin, Ryan is helpless about the feelings she pulls from him.
L-ove, can be the most amazing thing in the world. Love has the power to build nations and the power to destroy them. Ryan and Candace feel both sides of that very powerful spectrum. Elation and Pain are two very strong feelings that both Ryan and Candace experience.
I-nnocent, so many things have happened to Ryan and Candace all of which were out of their control. Through all of the mending a piece of them continues to blame themselves, knowing they are not at fault.
N-ew York, a dream that once was has morphed and transformed into something with a higher ceiling. Candace and Ryan are exactly where they belong.
G-ift, through the pain and the darkness both Candace and Ryan are each others light. Love is the greatest purest emotion, that is what they will use to build a future together.

Gah! Okay Wow just Wow seriously, this book was poetic. Ms. Blair knocks this one out of the park all kidding aside. Ryan's POV is amazing and I love him so I know you will too. All questions are answered and in the end I felt as though everyones lives were complete. I'm very reluctant to say goodbye to characters I become attached to but with this lovable group…All I can do is beam proudly at all of their accomplishments, and where they are at in life. Do yourself a favor pick this up!
