Synopsis:

She’s about to make a deal with the college bad boy...

Hannah Wells has finally found someone who turns her on. But while she might be confident in every other area of her life, she’s carting around a full set of baggage when it comes to sex and seduction. If she wants to get her crush’s attention, she’ll have to step out of her comfort zone and make him take notice…even if it means tutoring the annoying, childish, cocky captain of the hockey team in exchange for a pretend date.

...and it’s going to be oh so good.

All Garrett Graham has ever wanted is to play professional hockey after graduation, but his plummeting GPA is threatening everything he’s worked so hard for. If helping a sarcastic brunette make another guy jealous will help him secure his position on the team, he’s all for it. But when one unexpected kiss leads to the wildest sex of both their lives, it doesn’t take long for Garrett to realize that pretend isn’t going to cut it. Now he just has to convince Hannah that the man she wants looks a lot like him.

Review:

The Deal by Elle Kennedy has been on my TBR list forever!!!! When I started my reading challenge for 2016, I knew that there was no way I was letting it sit on my reading device very much longer. I had seen it on multiple ''Best of 2015'' lists and it was finally time for me to meet Mr. Garrett Graham. It was not my first time reading a book written by Elle Kennedy. I loved her After Hours series, and I could not wait to see what she had up her sleeve for The Deal.

Two strangers.
One deal.

Hannah Wells is determined to become ''visible'' and get the attention of her secret crush. Even if it means making a deal with Mr. Popular himself. Garrett Graham will do whatever it takes to get his grades up so he can stay on the hockey team.  He makes a deal with Hannah that she can't resist, but what he did not expect was to fall for the sassy brunette. As days go by, their mutual dislike for each other turns into a fun friendship. Hannah brings a dose of sunshine in Garrett's life and he's taking matters into his own hands and tweaking the deal he made with Hannah. After all, he's exactly what she's looking for ... She just doesn't know it yet.

What I absolutely love about Elle Kennedy's writing is how easy it is to relate to her characters. The cast of characters from the Off-Campus series is absolutely amazing and unforgettable! Each and every one of these characters brings a meaning to this fantastic and heart-melting reading journey. I did not only read this story, I lived it! I felt like I was right by their side to witness their ups and downs and to watch Hannah and Garrett fall deeply in love with each other.

I had the biggest smile on my face while reading their story. I have to admit that, before I started this book, I was afraid that it was going to be predictable and that it would not hold my interest from beginning to end. I was so wrong!! Hannah and Garrett are unique. While their irresistible banter made me laugh so many times and their sheet scorching chemistry left me fanning myself, the main thing that captivated me was their slow building romance. I had butterflies in my stomach and the more they fell in love with each other, the more I fell in love with them. The way that each of them opened up about their past and their insecurities pulled at my emotions. I became their biggest cheerleader. I was rooting for their perfect HEA. The first book of The Off-Campus series absolutely melted my heart and I can't wait to read about the other characters. What a wonderful way to start my 2016 reading journey! I highly recommend The Deal! :)
