Review:
I have a confession to make. I waited until the last minute to read Shaken, Not Stirred. Not because I did not want to read it, but because I simply didn't want this series to end! I have read each installment in The Last Call series. I fell in love with Gabby, Hunter, Alyssa, Brody, Savannah, Gavin, Andrea, Wyatt and the last final couple to join the crew, Casey and Tenn. I feel a strong connection with all these characters and I loved to read, and reread, their love stories. They make me happy!

I first discovered Sawyer Bennett when I read the first installment of The Last Call Series, which is On the Rocks. I did not know what I was in for since I had not read anything by this author. I absolutely fell in love with her writing style. Her characters are captivating and their stories made me feel all kinds of emotions! I always say that when you read a book you can't just read it ... You have to FEEL it!!!!

We get to know a bit about Casey in the previous books of The Last Call Series. She's Gabby's best friend, Hunter and Brody's little sister and a member of the Monday morning breakfast crew. She's also known has a one-night stand kind of girl. She has been burned in the past and she has no intentions of giving up her heart to a man.

Tenn is a new addition to this incredible cast of characters. He and Casey meet unexpectedly one day and he simply can't stop thinking about her. He's determined to make her see that all men are not the same. Tenn is looking to start a new chapter of his life. He gets the chance when he visits Outer Banks, NC. Meeting Casey was unexpected and the more he spends time with her, the more he wants her to be a part of his life.

Casey and Tenn were so good for each other. Casey was lost in her world of one-night stands until Tenn came along. He made her want more. I loved how Tenn took care of Casey. He made her feel like a queen. What started out as a one-night stand turned out to grow into something much more. Their attraction to each other was undeniable from the beginning. It was beautiful to see Casey let go and fall in love. Tenn was not the type of men she would have gone after, but he made it his mission to prove her wrong. Way to Go Tenn!!!

Overall, I am so happy for how each couple found love. They are an amazing cast of characters who have been through ups and downs. It's easy to relate to all of them. I'll miss the Last Call crew! Fantastic work by Sawyer Bennett!

Rating:
I give, Shaken, Not Stirred, by Sawyer Bennett 4 sexy, page-turning, fantastic, exciting stars!

Review:
Are you ready to meet your next book boyfriend?! Holy sweet mother of God!!! Wyatt Banks is in da house peeps!!! Sexy, passionate, caring, beautiful inside and out and the latest member to join my "Masters of Swoon" club. Holy Moly did my heart go beep beep beep!!!!

In With a Twist, we follow Wyatt Banks and Andrea Somerville. Their paths cross when they team up to dismantle a sex slave ring, which is taking place in a strip club. The more time Wyatt spends with Andrea, the more he is intrigued by her. When they are in the same room sparks fly. Will Wyatt and Andrea explore their feelings for one another and give love a chance?

I have followed this series since the very beginning. On the Rocks, which is the first book of the Last Call series, was the first book I ever read by Sawyer Bennett. After reading that book, I have devoured every single book in this series and a few other ones that she has written since I discovered her amazing talent. This series is fun, sexy and addictive. And, have you seen these sexy book covers? I am so buying the whole series on paperback when the last book of this series will be out. It's going to look so good on my top bookshelf :)

I absolutely loved With a Twist. Andrea and Wyatt are officially my favorite couple of this series! They are so perfect for each other. I love how their relationship exploded into an all-consuming, heart-melting romance. OMG!! I felt all kinds of different emotions while reading this book. Be prepared to fall in love with Andrea and Wyatt. They are freakin' phenomenal! I became their personal cheerleader and I wanted them to succeed in everything that they wished for. I wanted them to be happy in love and in life. They both love their job and it was nice to actually see them discuss about their insecurities and their dreams. This book was filled with many tender, hot, and unforgettable moments. Talking about unforgettable moments... There is one scene that I can't get out of my head!!! Gah!!!! That strip club sure got steamy!!! Their chemistry was H-O-T, and their love story was the ultimate gift for any fan of this amazing series.

What I love about this series is that it's so easy to relate to all the characters. It's always an enjoyable and memorable reading escape when I reunite with Gabby, Hunter, Alyssa, Brody, Savannah, Gavin, Casey, Wyatt and the last member to join the crew, Andrea. They make me HAPPY! This is exactly the kind of connection that I want with each and every character that I meet. The next book in the series is: Shaken, Not Stirred. This will be Casey's story. I can't wait to read her story! I absolutely adore her!!

Rating:
I give, With A Twist, by Sawyer Bennett 4.5 romantic, steamy, swoony, come-and-meet-your-next-book-boyfriend stars!

He’s twisted, bitter and angry at the world. He’s a loner… needing not a single thing other than his Scotch and a laptop upon which he can bang out his next erotic, dark thriller.

She’s running in place and getting nowhere…

Savannah Shepherd’s life is falling apart. Her dream of being a wildlife photographer seems a distant memory and she’s barely able to make ends meet. Driving herself forward with no clear goals apparent, she’s about ready to pack up her bags and head home with her tail between her legs.

He’s raw, forceful and a dirty talker. She’s a flowers and romance type of girl. Yet within each other, they find a mutual craving that can only be satisfied by giving in to their desires for one another.

Review:

Woweeee!! Holy Hotness!!

I am a big fan of the Last Call Series! I have fallen in love with Casey, Hunter, Gabby, Brody and Alyssa. Now, Sawyer Bennett brings us Gavin and Savannah's story, and HOLY MOLY!!! It was HOT!!!! Sugar on the Edge was a great reading escape! Sawyer Bennett's writing style is captivating, emotional, fun and she writes some pretty blazing hot steamy scenes. A change of panties is required! LOL! ;)

Gavin Cooke is a bestselling British author who is trying to find his way out of the darkness. After the tragedy that happened in his life, he needs to find a place where he can find peace so he can start writing again. When he moves to North Carolina the last thing he expected was a sweet stranger getting under his skin and making him feel things he does not want to feel. When her friend Casey sends her over to Gavin Cooke's house, Savannah Shepherd never expected a sexy and mysterious British author to be the answer to her financial problems. When Gavin offers her a cleaning job that she can't refuse, Savannah is left confused by all the different kinds of emotions that she feels when she's next to him. His touch leaves her breathless and his presence is larger than life. The more they spend time together, the more their feelings grow for each other. When the past comes back to torment Gavin, will he be able to let go and take a step towards the future with Savannah?

I was pretty excited to read this third installment of the Last Call Series. I love all the characters to pieces and I can't get enough of them! The Markham twins are pretty unforgettable so I was curious to meet Mr. Filthy since he was not a character I got to know in the previous books. I absolutely loved Gavin and Savannah together. I was a bit worried at the beginning because I have read many ''bad boy falls for good girl'' books and I'm always scared that I won't connect to the story because of how predictable it would be. I was happy to see that this was not the case for Sugar on the Edge.

I loved that it was written in dual POV's. I loved how Gavin described his writing journey. How he created his characters and how he discovered another side to Savannah by creating a character just like her in his book. That was pretty unique. Their chemistry is super hot! I loved how Gavin made Savannah feel sexy. The words he would tell her, and the way he would touch her. Eeeeep!! *Fans Self* I connected with them from the very beginning and I even found myself wanting to kick some Mr. Filthy butt at one particular moment. Oh my God! I wanted to scream at Gavin for what he was doing. My heart broke for Savannah :(

Overall, Sugar on the Edge was sexy, panty-melting hot, exciting and a page-turning reading escape! The ending was a bit rushed in my opinion, but that does not take anything away from the great reading journey that I experienced. I can't wait for the next installment! I really hope that it's Casey's book. She's Hunter and Brody's sister and she's a firecracker! I can't wait to see who is going to make her break all her rules ;)

I give, Sugar on the Edge, by Sawyer Bennett 4 sensual, opposites attract, fast-paced, Mr. Filthy-meets-his-match stars!
