Broken Knight
All Saints High #2
By: L.J. Shen
Release Date: August 25, 2019

Book Summary:

Not all love stories are written the same way. Ours had torn chapters, missing paragraphs, and a bittersweet ending.

Luna Rexroth is everyone’s favorite wallflower.
Sweet.
Caring.
Charitable.
Quiet.
Fake.
Underneath the meek, tomboy exterior everyone loves (yet pities) is a girl who knows exactly what, and who, she wants—namely, the boy from the treehouse who taught her how to curse in sign language. Who taught her how to laugh.
To live.
To love.
Knight Cole is everyone’s favorite football hero.
Gorgeous.
Athletic.
Rugged.
Popular.
Liar.
This daredevil hell-raiser could knock you up with his gaze alone, but he only has eyes for the girl across the street: Luna. But Luna is not who she used to be. She doesn’t need his protection anymore.
When life throws a curveball at All Saints’ golden boy, he’s forced to realize not all knights are heroes.
Sometimes, the greatest love stories flourish in tragedy.

Why I'm Eagerly Waiting:

I have read a few books by L.J. Shen.  Her books are full of steam, angst, and have the new adult vibe to them.  I read the first book in this series, and the character that I loved and related to the most was, Luna Rexroth.  I am so excited she is getting her own story.  Luna is quiet, strong, and down to earth.  She was easily overlooked, but a quality character.  Knight is outgoing, popular, and her complete opposite.  He had deep feelings for Luna, and didn't feel worthy of her.  I can't wait to see how their love story will play out!!!

    1. I would start with The Sinners of Saint Series. The All Saints High Series is about the main characters high school kids, so you get glimpses of characters from the previous series :)
