Stacking the Shelves & Sunday Post (41)

This week was my daughter's first week of school.  It was difficult getting back into the swing of things, and waking up so early in the morning.  My daughter had her last swim lesson for the summer this morning, and I finished binging on, How to Get Away with Murder.  I got two new books for review this week, and started Stuck With You, which looks like it's going to be a good book.

  2. My Little ones started school this week too! It has been a bit rough getting back into a routine and it is a little harder now that I have 3 in school (2 are in the same school and one goes to another school and all three need to be at the school at the same time.).

Glow Of the Fireflies has such a beautiful cover.

I hope you have a wonderful week.

  3. I imagine tomorrow morning will be a difficult one for all of us here. I always plan to start us on a more school-like sleep routine a week or two before school starts so we'll be ready, but it never works out that way . . . Oh, well. Hopefully the excitement of being back at school and seeing her friends will be enough of an incentive to get her out of bed. I hope your daughter enjoyed her swim lessons!

I am glad you are enjoying Stuck With You! It looks like a good one. And Glow of the Fireflies has such a pretty cover. I hope you enjoy both!

Have a great week, Lindy! Happy Reading.

    1. I always have the same plan, but it never ends up happening here either. She loves swim, and I'm sad it was her last one until next summer. I hope you have a great week, and your kids get adjusted quickly as well :)

  4. Can't believe its school already. Felt like June and July just flew by for me which they did b/c I was out visiting family and having my vacation trip. LOL
Yay for the new review books. I've got Unearthed still to look forward to.

    Have a great week, Lindy!

  8. Good luck with the new school year. I remember the first days being tough, but hopefully your daughter will get back into the swing of things quickly. I got Stuck with You too. Sounds adorable and I liked other books by the author. I am not ready to read it yet, so I will get a heads up from you.

    1. I wish they started after Labor Day. The only positive is that they get out in May instead of June.

  11. The summer break seemed to pass in a flash. Hard to believe it's time to get back into school schedules. Stuck With You sounds like such a good YA contemporary. I'll be looking forward to seeing your thoughts on it! Hope your week is off to a good start, Lindy.

  14. I hope you enjoyed Stuck with You Lindy! It's really tough when the kids go back as the adults have to be up with them at the crack of dawn. I hope you adjust quick. And I can't wait to hear what you think of Glow of the Fireflies. I actually thought about reviewing it because that cover is too gorgeous! ❤️

    1. I'm loving Stuck With You Dani, and will be finishing it soon! I'm adjusting to the early mornings, but I'm not naturally an early riser, so it's a bit difficult either way. Do you think you'll end up reading Glow of Fireflies?
