Review:

Oh my world!!!!

This was my first time reading a book by author R. Scarlett and it won't be my last! Lex and Beau's intense and passionate love story gave me all the feels! I have been looking for a new paranormal series to read and I’m so happy that this author was recommended to me. I’m jumping of joy knowing that I have more books to read from her. I will without a doubt read the four books from the Blackest Gold Series. When Sinners Kneel is a spin-off from that series and I fell in love with those characters so I will visit them very soon to know where everything started for them. Even if the characters from the previous series were involved in this story, I did not feel lost at all.

The Blackest Gold World series starts off with a bang! A soul eater falls for a heartless demon? Sold!!!! Lex Harvey and Beau Knight’s worlds collide when she goes to look for her missing friend at The Pit. Falling for his brother’s friend was not part of the plan. Keeping her safe was. Will Beau be able to keep his distance from her or will he fall into temptation again?

I read WSK in one sitting! I simply could not put it down! From the moment Lex and Beau came face-to-face, I was on the edge of my seat and I was fanning my face because HOLY CRAPOLA these two!!!! The sexual tension was setting my world on fire and I was hanging on R. Scarlett's every word. Beau is one dirty talker that you do not want to miss! *Fans face again*

These two characters are perfectly imperfect for each other. Beau might be a heartless demon, but the way he loves Lex?? Gah!!!! *Swoon* He fell so hard for her and she made him want to feel again. Lex could taste every emotion that Beau was feeling. She’s a soul eater and she completely indulge herself when it came to Beau. She found the connection to his broken soul and she wanted more than anything to set him free. She’s a fierce and strong heroine and one I loved to cheer for! When Sinners Kneel is a new adult paranormal romance and it can be read as a standalone. I highly recommend it!

Rating:

I give, When Sinners Kneel, by R. Scarlett, 4.5 intense, sexy, heart-pounding, page-turning stars!

About the Author:

R. Scarlett lives in a small quaint town in Southern Ontario, Canada and has an unhealthy obsession with mythology and romance. From studying English literature and minoring in History, she loves losing herself in a good book and snuggling up to her Brittany Spaniel.

When she's not writing or plotting a delicious novel, she can be found hanging out with friends and family, going on long car rides, exploring small towns, or watching reruns of Sex and the City.
