And the new heavyweight champion of the world is...

Those are the words that Zeus Kincaid has been waiting to hear since he first put on a pair of boxing gloves. He just didn’t think they would come with a tragedy that would change how he viewed the sport forever.

Cameron Reed was in her second year at Juilliard when her childhood sweetheart, Zeus Kincaid, walked away from her. A few months later, Cam realized that she would never fulfill her dream of dancing for the New York City Ballet.

Now working as a dancer in an upscale club in Manhattan, Cam is brought face-to-face with the man she once loved. And it’s her turn to walk away from him.

After five years of missing Cam, Zeus isn’t prepared to let her go again. But when he finds himself standing on her doorstep the next morning, things don’t go quite as he expected…

Review:

My bookworm heart bursts with happiness when I read a second chance at love romance. I love taking that journey with the H and h and see them give their love a second chance. What I love the most about these kinds of books is that you can feel how powerful their love still is no matter how many years have passed from the moment that they first fell in love. Samantha Towle is a fantastic author that always captivates me with her words. Ruin was a wonderful reading journey that will have you cheering for Cam and Zeus from beginning to end!

Five years have passed since Cameron Reed got her heart broken by Zeus Kincaid. He’s back in her life and he’s more determined than ever to fight not only for the heavyweight championship title, but for the love of his life as well. Zeus never forgot Cam and he’s about to show her that even if five years have passed, she belongs to him. Will Cam give their love a second chance?

The chemistry between Cam and Zeus was incredibly addictive. I could feel their connection getting even stronger with each new moment they created on this second chance at love journey. They had many obstacles to overcome when it came to finding their way back together. Cam and Zeus have been apart for five years and many things have changed. I liked how Cam reacted to having Zeus back in her life. She made it clear from the beginning that it was not ok to come rushing back into her life that way. He really broke her heart and putting the pieces back together will take time.

Overall this was a great reading journey that left me with a smile on my face. Samantha Towle always delivers when it comes to a captivating reading escape. I also loved many scenes in this book, but I don’t want to reveal too many details from the storyline. Those scenes made my heart melt and made the story even more captivating in my eyes. If you have not read a book by Samantha Towle, you’re seriously missing out!

Rating:

I give, Ruin, by Samantha Towle, 4 sexy, passionate, romantic, never stop fighting for the one you love stars!
