Synopsis:
The night I met Drew Jagger, he’d just broken into my new Park Avenue office. I dialed 9-1-1 before proceeding to attack him with my fancy new Krav Maga skills.
He quickly restrained me, then chuckled, finding my attempted assault amusing.
Of course, my intruder had to be arrogant.
Only, turned out, he wasn’t an intruder at all.
Drew was the rightful occupant of my new office. He’d been on vacation while his posh space was renovated.
Which was how a scammer got away with leasing me office space that wasn’t really available for rent.
I was swindled out of ten grand.
The next day, after hours at the police station, Drew took pity on me and made me an offer I couldn’t refuse. In exchange for answering his phones while his secretary was out, he’d let me stay until I found a new place.
I probably should have acted grateful and kept my mouth shut when I overheard the advice he was spewing to his clients. But I couldn’t help giving him a piece of my mind.
I never expected my body to react every time we argued. Especially when that was all we seemed to be able to do.
The two of us were complete opposites. Drew was a bitter, angry, gorgeous-as-all-hell, destroyer of relationships. And my job was to help people save their marriages.
The only thing the two of us had in common was the space we were sharing. And an attraction that was getting harder to deny by the day.

What a way to start 2017!!! If you are looking for your next sexy, swoony and fun reading escape, look no further! Vi Keeland delivers all the feels in Egomaniac. I have been reading books by this author for about a year now. I was kicking myself for not reading her work sooner and every time I finish one of her books, it leaves me wanting more!

When Drew Jagger comes back from some much needed vacations, the last thing he expected was to find Emerie Rose occupying his office. From the moment they meet, their chemistry is undeniable. As days go by, Emerie and Drew share more than their working space. They start to fall for each other. It’s unexpected, exciting and scary all at once. Drew has been burned in the past, but Emerie makes him want more. His job is to end relationships and hers is to save them. Will they be able to make their relationship work?
Gah!!! Emerie and Drew are so freakin’ amazing I can’t even deal!! Their banter is super intoxicating and their chemistry is out of this world HOT! From beginning to end, Egomaniac was a reading escape that made me feel all kind of different emotions. I love when the book I am reading leaves me with a smile on my face and a heart bursting with love for the author that gives me everything that I look for when I read a romance novel. The only problem with Vi Keeland is that I can’t pick a favorite couple. When I think that I have found my favorite, she goes and creates another one that steals my heart!
I loved reading about Emerie and Drew’s careers and their personal journey. I really liked that the author took the time to revisit Drew’s past instead of just giving us a small recap of what happened to him. It makes me connect more to the story and to the character as well. I absolutely loved this book and I highly recommend it!
