Synopsis:

No one knows my secret. Ever since high school, ever since I started living in fear, no one has known the true me. But then I met him, and I couldn't hide anymore. He became my hero, saving me from the villain of my past. He became my friend, his smile a blanket of warmth. And he scared me. Because he, this beautiful man, he might become more. Then he'd see the real me, and I couldn't let that happen. My name is Winter, and what I desire most I can't have.

Flashes of the night I was drugged rush back to me. His strong arms carrying me through the streets of Paris. The feel of his heart beating as my head rested against his chest. The soft press of his lips against my forehead when he thought I was asleep. Oh shit. I'm falling for the cowboy.

Cade. But we can't be anything more. He has his own secrets. His own darkness he keeps hidden, like the letter he keeps with him everywhere he goes. The letter he refuses to open.

My Review:

Kiss Me in Paris by Dmytry Karpov & Kimberly Kinrade was fantastic! This story was a real adventure from beginning to end. Winter and Cade share a beautiful romance that starts with a solid friendship, but that develops into an incredible love story. This story was not just romantic. It was hilarious as well. I still can't take that bathroom scene out of my head... OMG!!! Winter and Jennifer sure made me laugh, but I felt bad for them at the same time. Poor girls!!! I would have died of embarrassment!!! Even Winter and Cade share some funny moments. I love when authors give us a story with dual POV. I have to admit that Cade's POV was very intriguing. I kept on turning the pages and a big smile would appear on my lips when I would see his name appear on the next chapter.

Winter wants to write novels. She has a loving family that loves and supports her, but a dark secret from her past is coming back to make her life a living hell. Cade is a Texas cowboy who has a love for buildings. He has been under his father's roof for far too long and he now wants to start to live the life he's always wanted. Even if it means leaving people that he loves behind and breaking the difficult relationship he's been having with his dad. A letter holds all the answers he's been looking for, but he's afraid of what he will discover once he reads it.

Friendship, love, passion, a winning combination in my books! It amazing how these two fall in love with each other. They both have dark secrets that surround their lives and with some words of encouragements from each other, they find their love when they least expect it. The authors did an amazing job with this book. I've never been to Paris. I wish that one day I can actually see all the amazing things that these two lovebirds got the chance to visit. The story was very well written, so much that I felt like I got a personal tour of Paris :)

My Rating:

I give Kiss Me in Paris 4 1/2 emotional, romantic, breathtaking stars! Romance lovers will fall in love with this book! When you mix Paris, a sexy cowboy, an optimist writer and LOVE, you get Kiss Me in Paris! Fantastic work by this duo ;)

Casting:
