Review:

No Attachments, by Tiffany King was a romantic reading journey that kept me turning the pages until early morning! Ashton and Nathan's love story was tender, passionate, addictive and fun! I love it when authors create characters that are so easy to relate to.

When Ashton Garrison meets sexy and mysterious Nathan Lockton, sparks fly immediately. What started out as a no strings attached fling soon becomes a tornado of emotions neither of them ever expected. Will they be able to let go of the past and give love a chance?

Ashton and Nathan totally stole my heart! The chemistry and the banter between them was AMAZING! It was so easy to connect with them from the very beginning. This is the most important thing to me. I need to feel connected to the main characters from the beginning of the story to the very end. The author did an awesome job at keeping me on the edge of my seat and I never lost my connection with Ashton and Nathan. Yes, there are some moments when I wanted to virtually slap them both for the way they were acting, but that's what I love about reading I get to experience all kinds of emotions!

Ashton is lovable and funny! She's sweet and I loved her friendship with Tressa, Brittni and Fran. I LOL so many times at the things she said or did around Nathan. I don't blame her!!! I would become a puddle of mush if I was around Nathan too! *Swoon*

Nathan was AWESOME! I loved the way he took care of Ashton. He became her Romeo in disguise and he swept her off her feet. I also loved to see him fall heads over heels in love with her. Oh, and let's not forget that he gave her the bike ride of her life ... *Fans Self*

What I really liked about this reading journey is the way Ashton and Nathan got to know each other. They went on dates, they talked about their past, their insecurities, and what they wanted in life. They both had a past that left them with emotional scars. It broke my heart to see them talk about those emotional events. I cheered for this couple from the very beginning and I loved how they grew stronger has individuals, and has a couple.

The supporting characters in this story were fantastic! We got to know Ashton's best friends pretty well in this book. I can't wait to read Tressa and Brittni's story! These two are hilarious!!! ;)

Rating:

I give, No Attachments, by Tiffany King 4 engaging, entertaining, heartwarming, romantic stars!

Lindy's Thoughts:

No Attachments by Tiffany King, was a beautiful, and poignant love story, that will always stay with me.  Ashton comes from a wealthy background, has lived her whole life in Florida, and is on the run.  She decided to relocate to a quaint little town, where everyone know's each other, and are like a tight-knit family.  While in this town, nobody know's of Ashton's background or reasons for being there, other than her employer/friend Fran, and her two new best friends, Tressa, and Brittni.  While there, Ashton has concocted a checklist of fears, experiences, and adventures that she wants to conquer.  Nathan, is a private investigator, who was hired to locate Ashton, and then turn over her whereabouts.  He doesn't care who hired him or why.  He just wants to get paid.  Nathan  is a serious sort of guy, that doesn't do attachments, and uses sex strictly as a means to an end.  One night when Ashton, and her friends go to a bar, they locate the gorgeous, and sexy Nathan having a drink.  Tressa and Brittni, push Ashton to complete one of the tasks on her list by picking up on Nathan,  and have a one night stand with him.  Nathan is at the bar, keeping an eye on Ashton, but doesn't know what it is about her, that has him fascinated, and attracted to her.  From this point on, things get really interesting, and No Attachments develops into a fabulous story with characters you will fall in love with, a story, that will make your heart break, and a clear message, that will have you thinking about this book, long after you have finished it.

I fell in love with Ashton, and Nathan.  The chemistry between the two of them was palpable, and there were so many hot, and swoon-worthy scenes between these two!  There was never a dull moment when Ashton, and Nathan were together!  They had the best of both friendship, and passion.  Ashton had a carefree vibe about her, and her fun, easy going nature really helped to break down Nathan's walls.  He loved her laughter, and strong spirit.  She was pretty forthright, and didn't feel the need to put on appearances.  I loved her down-to-earth personality.  Nathan was strong, protective, loving, loyal, and passionate where Ashton was concerned.  I loved all of the romantic, and detail-oriented dates Nathan Planned for Ashton.  I also loved how a basic date between these two was always filled with so many laughs, awkward and spontaneous moments, flirting, and primal desire!  No Attachments unfolded in such a way where, I was in a constant state of suspense, and wanted to know what would happen next, without the story ending.  This story was so fast-paced, and before I knew it I had finished.

I give, "No Attachments," by Tiffany King 5 longing, Anticipating, Loving, and Attached Stars!  This story had a lot of depth, touched my heart, and made me cry like a baby.  For "No Attachments" to evoke such strong emotions within me, is a sign of how much I connected to both the character's and the plot.  If you enjoy a bittersweet, touching, authentic, and realistic love story, then you will love, "No Attachments!"  This is a story that I will always remember, and cherish.  "No Attachments" was beautifully written, and I highly recommend it!  I am excited to have discovered a new amazing author, and look forward to reading more of her books!  Read this book now!  Trust me, when I say this is a story that you will cherish, and want for your library!!!

My Favorite Quotes:

"It was like a fairytale.  What girl didn't dream about a candle filled evening with a man who made your pulse race and your heart skip a beat?  The problem was I shouldn't want any of it.  More accurately, I shouldn't be allowed to want it."  (EARC, 94)

"She was equally beautiful in her sleep and by far the most engaging woman I had ever been with, making all others pale in comparison.  Her quick wit and honest on most issues pulled me in, making me want to learn everything about her."  (EARC, 111)

"I wanted to be with him, to confide in him.  I wanted to tear up our imaginary no-attachments contract.  But most of all, I didn't want to leave him."  (EARC, 141)
