Review:
I became a fan of Amy Daws from the moment I read Keeper, which is the third book in The Harris Brothers Series. You don't actually need to read this series in order. I read Keeper first and I did not feel lost at all. I did go back and read the previous books because I simply can't get enough of the Harris siblings! I love this family and I have enjoyed every single one of my reading escapes with them.

Gareth Harris has been a mystery this entire series. I wanted to know more about him from the moment I met him in this series. My heart broke for him and I wanted him to find somebody that would heal all of his emotional scars. He's a superstar footballer for a Premier League football team. Sloan Montgomery is a clothing stylist that comes into his life and from the moment he meets her, he's mesmerized. The only problem is that she's married. He tries to keep his distance ... Until one night of passion between them turns his world upside down.

If you are looking for your next unputdownable reading escape, Surrender is that book! It will leave you at the edge of your seat with a heart-stopping cliffhanger and you will cheer for the entire Harris family. I had a wonderful time on this reading journey with Sloan and Gareth. They are so hot together! The entire supporting cast of characters is amazing! These are the kind of characters that I want to find in the stories I read. The kind that linger with you for days after you have turned the last page to their book. If you have not read anything by Amy Daws yet, you're seriously missing out! I can't wait to see what happens in Dominate, which is releasing very soon!

I manage to sneak up beside her as she’s chatting with Vi, and she jumps nearly a foot in the air when she lays eyes on me. 

“Booker!” Vi yells, pulling my focus off of Poppy. She wraps me in a hug. “Fucking aces game, my love. That last save. It was amazing! I can’t wait to watch it on the highlights I recorded at home. Seriously, career best save by far.” 

 I smile sheepishly as everyone else gives me a pat on the back, but the one I’m most curious for a reaction from remains silent. When their attention turns to something Rocky does, I step toward Poppy and nudge her with my elbow. 

“Hello.” My voice is quiet as I lean over her, inhaling her scent—a vast improvement from the sweat and dirt wafting off of me. 

 “Hello,” she replies, looking up at me as she frowns with a puzzled expression. 

 I smirk as I continue to tower over her. “How’d you like the game?” 

 Her eyes fixate on my mouth as I lick my lips. As if in some sort of daze, she twitches slightly and swallows. “Good seats.” Her cheeks flame red. 

 This amuses me and I have to bite my lip to stop from laughing. Of all the things she could have said after never having seen me play, she comments on the seats. It makes me want to tackle her to the ground and tickle her until she admits how bloody good I am. 

 I quirk my brow. “That’s all you have to comment on?” 

 “Oh yeah, good game or whatever.” She flicks her wrist in the air like today is any old Saturday and she didn’t just witness my career best save. 

 This makes me snicker. She can be stubborn as a mule sometimes. Determined, I straighten my posture, looming over her even more now and trying to silently intimidate her into admission. I want to hear her fucking say it. I want to hear her say I’m great. I’m not usually a cocky sod. My ego isn’t one that needs constant attention. But fuck me, after a game like tonight, I can’t help but want praise from my best friend. 

 I pierce her with a challenging look. “Did you really just say whatever?” 

 Her tongue swipes across her glossy lips as I move in even closer. She starts twitching and murmurs so low I can barely hear her, “Are you seriously trying to keeper me right now?”


Review:
Keeper, which is the third book of the Harris Brothers Series, is my first read by Amy Daws. It took me no time at all to fall in love with her writing style and the wonderful characters she created. Poppy and Booker completely stole my heart from the very beginning. Finding a new author that delivers all the feels is a bookworm's dream come true! One of my goals for 2017 was to read as many new authors as I could. I'm so glad that I finally got the chance to read a book by Amy Daws. 

Booker Harris lost his best friend six years ago. Things have not been the same without Poppy McAdams by his side. Finding out that Poppy is back is the best news he could ever receive. Booker is determined to keep Poppy by his side. As days go by, Poppy and Booker's friendship develops into something more. Booker needs to make some decisions that will change everything between him and Poppy. Will he be able to step out of his comfort zone and give love a chance?

Best friends to lovers is one of my favorite tropes in romance. I love to read about beautiful friendships that bloom into heart-melting love stories. Poppy and  Booker's love journey gave me all the feels! Their chemistry was crazy intense and their love was absolutely beautiful.  Booker was a swoony hero that made me melt! He grew so much as a character. I felt like his life completely changed because of Poppy's love. I absolutely loved Poppy! She's the kind of heroine I love to cheer for. Her confidence and her bubbly personality captivated me from the first moment she was introduced in the story.

This story was a fantastic reading journey that also had an amazing cast of supporting characters. Booker's siblings are fantastic! I can't wait to read all of their stories. I absolutely loved the family bond that they share and I look forward to reading Gareth's story. He's super intriguing! I loved every moment of my reading journey and highly recommend Keeper.
