Dealing in What if's Only Ever Leads to Darkness

This was such a sad and difficult read. I wanted to find out what would happen to all of these beloved characters. The story was dark and Lennon was faced with loss and despair unlike anything he’s ever experienced. Rain was his whole world and for a long time these two faced unimaginable pain. From the very beginning Lennon’s life gets put into sheer darkness. I was waiting for Jinx to appear and what her role would be in this story. At first I was so angry at Rain for her actions and the way she abandoned Lennon when he needed her most. Lennon comes a long way in this final installment and I was so proud of his development. The ending was spectacular and I can sincerely say everything played out leaving all the t’s crossed and i’s dotted.

L-
ove, Lennon finally has everything he could ever want. A proposal is finally accepted making him the happiest man alive.
E-nsemble, Rain can’t help but keep her eyes on Lennon at all times there isn’t anyone else for her ever. She can’t wait to become his wife.
N-otorious, being a rock god comes with a lot of pressure and temptation but there will never be anyone for Lennon other than Rain.
N-aughty, in love and bliss these two love each other intensely, passionately, and it will never fade.
O-bligations, all Lennon wants to do is be by Rain’s side but she has shut him out not knowing how to deal with her pain she pushes him away.
N-arcotics, Lennon is tempted by the absence of pain and in the effort of trying to make it go away he creates more hurt. Mistakes and misunderstandings will be his undoing.
S-ins, Lennon will always care for Jinx but no matter what happens he will always only love one woman and thats Rain.

H-elp, Rain has been working on herself and it will take some pain before she realizes that she cannot be without Lennon. A tragic incident will put them in close proximity and Rain will do what it takes to make things right.
O-pen, helping Jinx get past her heart break is something that comes as second nature to Lennon. They both realize they would never work and the best part is Jinx finds her happiness.
P-romise, Lennon’s father has always disappointed him but sharing a painful secret will ignite the desire to forgive. In the end these two are much more similar than Lennon ever expected.
E-nding, the dreams Lennon and Rain shared come to fruition. Their road wasn’t easy but looking back the events in their lives that were painful only served to make them stronger and their union something truly beautiful.

The ending was spectacular and my girl Jinx was taken care of. So I’d say bravo! The road certainly wasn’t easy there is a lot of darkness and pain. Thankfully they pull through the difficult time together. Another great read by Myers this story definitely pulled at my heart strings. I experienced every emotion reading this final installment. The ending was sad but it was beautiful at the same time, the tears I shed were happy ones. Lennon has come a long way. Two young ones found each other and lost each other but in the end nothing could ever tear them apart. I really enjoyed the fact that Lennon was able to work on his relationship with his father. They found a common ground in the end. This was a very entertaining series full of drama and dark moments. Myers was able to bring everything to a lovely close tying up all the lose ends nicely.

My Rating
4.0 SUV, Tour, Gazebo, Hope, Clive, Brother, Cliff, Compound, World Tour, Jinx, Drugs, Media, Twins, Broken Heart, Stalker, Hearing, Texts, Tutor, Rehab, Counseling, Powerful Love, Undying Union Filled Stars! For those that enjoy drama and ups and downs. This series is for you.

Synopsis

Sometimes in love, you choose wrong…

Eight years ago, Lennon lost his heart to Rain, and suddenly she’s back, all grown up and sexy as hell. At a sorority party, he convinces himself that outbidding every other guy for a body shot from Rain is for charity. But he knows better. He doesn’t want any guy, except him, tarnishing the memory of the little girl he proposed to in fifth grade.

Jinx loves Lennon and is past ready for him to make his move. With his sexual prowess, she worries why he hasn’t made any advances. She fears she is losing him, and the only way to keep him is to overcome her past and give him what he desires.

Rain knows Lennon is trouble. If she couldn’t say no to the gangly boy asking her to skateboard off some roof, how will she refuse Lennon’s seductive powers now that he is a man? Rain has many reasons to resist his charm. He has a girlfriend, he’s moving to LA with her, and Rain has no intention to march in the long parade of Lennon Tyler conquests.

Now, Lennon must choose. Someone has to lose, and that person could be him.

The Way I See It

Lennon’s Rain...SOOOOOO not what I was expecting. Let me start of by being BRUTALLY honest. I am a HUGE fan of JINX from Lennon’s Jinx...This went in a TOTALLY different direction and I was flippin sad! GAH!! I was beyond torn, typically I’m all for the love triangles they dont really bother me. I’m not sure if its cause there are two girls when there is usually two guys. I dunno?! What I do know is I fell madly in love with Jinx and I soooooo badly want her to find her HEA. Lennon has always loved Rain, in Lennon’s Rain its a matter of whether he will get to finally have her. One thing is for sure everyone KNOWS where Lennon's heart is. Even when he isn't quite sure himself.

L-iberated, doing something without his girlfriend Lennon feels like he may get into trouble.
E-ngaged, a long time ago a boy proposed to a girl only for her to break his heart.
N-ervous, Lennon keeps running into his past the only one who unnerves him is Rain and she keeps showing up everywhere.
N-eglected, Lennon has tried to go slow with Jinx but her self doubt and mistrust keeps pushing him away.
O-pinion, a compromising position will be the final piece of evidence and the nail in the coffin. As far as Lennon is concerned sides have been chosen.
N-ight, brings stalkers and luckily Rain knows how to take care of herself and what signs to look for.
S-urprise, Rain’s band has won, now a tour is in her future everything is finally coming together for her.

R-eality, is so different now, Lennon has been through so much and is right back at point A. Trusting his father to take care of Currie(his precious sister) is a scary fact.
A-pproach, Lennon’s past keeps haunting him he will not be a victim ever again.
I-ndependent, Rain wants to make a name for herself on her own, through hard work and merit she refuses to be another statistic.
N-ame, he wants her to take his...

Okay look I love Rain, I do. She is great with Currie and she knows Lennon without the extra effort. I am still friends with people I've known since Elementary School there is nothing on this planet that can measure up to that type of connection. Here is the deal, I love Jinx and I want her to be happy if that makes me you know "whatevs"...Then fine, I'll be "whatevs". I can’t help it Lennon may have met Rain in the 5th grade but I met Jinx first and I’m kind of
possessive with loyal to the ones I love. So there ya go. I’ll always have her back. I love the way Rain is with Currie and how she carries herself I guess I wish I would have met her first so my loyalties would not be questioned. Okay let me get off the JINX train and say I can't wait to see what happens in the next book because there is only one person I love more than Jinx and that is Lennon…So OFC I'll be following the story.

My Favs

Lennon
He is so complex and simple its mind boggling he was taught by the best how to raise and nurture a young one.(NOT HIS PARENTS) Rain was his whole life and heart she will always own him no matter the odds. I love Lennon because of his capacity of love the way he cares for his little sister is exemplary. I’m not even THAT good of a parent. ;) He is kind and loving and his heart has always belonged to one person. Nothing will change that, ever.

My Wish

Please OH Please will Jinx get her HEA?. I don’t care who its with? I want my girl with the amazing lungs and rocking hair to find love. Her life was nearly destroyed Lennon rescued Jinx from the abyss, its clear HE belongs to someone ELSE so CM I’m begging...Can we please see Jinx finally kiss HER prince? Please?

My Question
Whats up with that stalker? What ever happened with that paparazzi kid and that fire interview?

My Rating
4.0 BodyShot, YouTube, GayBFF, Homophobe Father, Hypocryte father, Los Angeles, Chicago, Bleeding, Wine Stain, Civil Lawsuit, Alley Brawl, Diamond Ring, Choreographer Filled Stars! for a book with steamy scenes and forbidden love pick up the Lennon series.

My Mini thoughts
of
(Lennon's Girls #1)

I fell in absolute love with Jinx and Lennon! Bravo this was a great read, I'm so committed to Jinx I'm deathly afraid of the next book. I'll be honest the cover of this book doesn't really do it for me. Red and green are complimentary colors but to put them on the cover like that makes me think of Christmas. The story was great from the first page we get thrown into the action and I enjoyed that very much. Lennon has been through so much and he is nothing like what the groupies make him out to be. He loves his sister and takes care of every aspect of her life. Lennon is Currie's heart and vice versa. Jinx has spunk and is meant to be a rockstar, she has been through something traumatic and it has stunted her. Lennon seems to reach her in a way no on has before. Jinx is a rising star and I can't wait to see where she goes from here. *WARNING* I'm a little worried about the direction of the series but I'm going to continue to read it I look forward to everyone finding balance and peace in their lives.

My Rating

4.25 Fun, Navy Pier, Chicago Clubing, Red Hair, ex Boyfriend, Little Sister, Baby Kittens, Second Chances, Risk Taking filled stars! For a fun and engaging mature YA I highly recommend this book.

Sometimes in love, you choose wrong… Eighteen-year-old Lennon Tyler has his first girlfriend Jinx. Now what? He’s gone from the oasis of easy groupies to the Sahara. With her past history, he believes she should make the first move. With his sexual prowess, Jinx worries why he hasn’t made any advances. Add his sexual frustration to the return of his fifth grade crush plus a Japanese temptress equals trouble for Lennon. In fifth grade, Rain broke Lennon’s heart and her own. She has never forgotten her best friend and skateboarding partner. When Lennon sees her at a sorority party, he doesn’t hesitate to humiliate her. Instead of embarrassing her, he stirs up old feelings that neither of
them got over.
