Stacking the Shelves & Sunday Post (41)

This was the first week of my daughter's summer vacation!  We took a lot of walks, went to the park, and watched a ton of kids movies!  I was really behind on my May, Can You Read a Series in a Month Challenge? I originally planned on reading Rebecca Zanetti's Sin Brothers for the challenge, but I ended up getting an eARC for Saphire Flames in the Hidden Legacy Series by Ilona Andrews, so I decided to read all of the previous books in that series instead; in order to have all of the world-building and characters down.

I enjoyed it so much!  These books are 5 star reads all the way down, and if you love action, mystery, magic, suspense, romance, and books that you do not want to put down because they move so fast and are so good, you should check it out!  My reviews were all posted this last week, and are linked below, under Last Week on the Blog...

  6. It sounds like your daughter's summer got off to a great start! School for mine ended last Thursday, and we spent Friday lazing about mostly. LOL At least before heading to dance classes. She starts "summer camp" tomorrow (in quotes because it's a fancy term for daycare).

Oh, I love Ilona Andrews! I haven't read that particular series, but it's one I hope to read one day. These Witches Don't Burn sounds like a lot of fun.

I hope you have a great week, Lindy!

  8. Ilona Andrews is such a prolific writer. Her Hidden Legacy novels look interesting enough. I have only read two other books of hers. I would have to pick them up in a used bookstore.
