Review:

I can't believe that this is the final installment in The Cavanaugh Brothers Series :( I have read all the books in this fantastic series and loved every single minute of it! The cast of characters in this series was pretty awesome and their stories captivating!

In Bonded, we follow Emily and Blue's love story. It all started with a night of passion, but Emily and Blue's relationship grows when he finds out that Emily his pregnant. He wants to be there for his child, but he's scared to take the next step when it comes to Emily. He has a difficult time trusting people after everything that has happened to him. As days go by, Blue's feelings for Emily grew stronger with every moment he spent with her. Will Blue be able to forget about his past and take a step towards a future with Emily?

I really enjoyed this book! Laura Wright has a beautiful writing style that keeps you turning the pages from beginning to end! I felt like I was a part of the journey and a member of the Cavanaugh family. I have been cheering for them to find love and, to find the person who was responsible for Cassandra's murder. It was not an easy journey for these brothers, but through it all they have formed a bond that is now unbreakable.

Emily and Blue had a fantastic chemistry! Their one night stand turned up to becoming much more when Emily found out she was pregnant. Emily was a sweet and confident heroine and I liked her from the moment she was introduced into the story. Blue was an irresistible jerk. He was mad at the world for his family situation and it was understandable. I did find that he was pretty hard on his mom and did not give her chance from the beginning to explain what happened. The more I read about Blue's story, the more I wanted him to forgive his mom and forget all about his past and start a new life on a positive note. Emily was exactly the kind of person he needed in his life to make him realize that he had an amazing family surrounding him.

I'm really sad to see series this series come to an end, but I am happy that all the Cavanaugh brothers found love and happiness. It was a pleasure to see all the characters from the previous books in Bonded. They all had an important role in each and every book of this series. This series was romantic, captivating and pretty steamy! Laura Wright did a fantastic job with each and every one of these books and I highly recommend this series.

Rating:

I give Bonded, by Laura Wright, 4 intriguing, exciting, page-turning stars!

Review:

I am a big fan of Laura Wright's Cavanaugh Brothers series. I have read this series from the beginning and I can't get enough! The mystery surrounding the murder of the youngest sibling of the Cavanaugh clan has left me with no nails!!!! Since the very beginning I have been taking notes and trying to figure out who could be behind it all. I was anxiously waiting for this third installment to come along so I could continue to investigate and try to put every single piece of this mysterious puzzle together.

We meet Grace and Cole in the previous books of this series. Their chemistry has been slowly burning up the pages and the way that the author wrote their story totally kept me glued to my seat from beginning to end! From the moment that Grace and Cole meet, tensions run high. Grace's father might have the answers that could solve the murder of Cole's sister. Cole has done the impossible to find out who is responsible for his sister's murder, but every new lead ends up leaving him with more questions about what happened on that tragic day.

Grace wants to protect the only family she has left, which is her dad. Her dad is a retired sheriff and he knows what happened to Cass Cavanaugh, but he won't talk about it. Grace takes the intiative to help Cole with his search to find his sister's killer. The more time they spend together, the more the attraction that they have towards each other is undeniable. As the last pieces of this mysterious puzzle start falling into place, Grace and Cole grow closer together.

I really liked Brash. It was different from the two previous books. It was more focused around the murder of Cass Cavanaugh. The story really took a step forward with this third installment. The author did a fantastic job at writing Grace and Cole's love story. All of the Cavanaugh brothers have their own scars from what happened to their sister. They are all fighting their own battle. With the support of strong and determined women these brothers have found a place where they belong.

Grace and Cole had a great chemistry and I connected with them from the moment they were introduced in the story. Their journey if filled with emotional, intense, passionate and healing moments. My heart broke for Cole. He has so much guilt about what happened to his sister. I wanted him to find closure and begin a new journey. Grace gives him that beginning even if the mystery of his sister's murder is still not resolved. It was lovely to reconnect with all the characters that have made this series a memorable one.

That ending?!?!?!?! Holy moly!!! I was not expecting that!!! I can't wait to read the final installment of this series, which is Blue Cavanaugh's story. Bonded will be out later this year and I can't wait to grab the last piece of the puzzle that will make everything clear. I kind of have of an idea where this is going, but the blurb of Blue's book has left me confused and intrigued.

Rating:
I give, Brash, by Laura Wright, 4.5 passionate, page-turning, tension-filled stars!

Synopsis:

The Cavanaugh brothers left behind River Black, Texas, long ago. But after their father dies, bequeathing them the Triple C, a cattle ranch that sustains their small town, they return—and confront the painful memories of their childhood home and the truth about their sister’s murder…

Sheridan O’Neil’s quiet confidence has served her well, except when it comes to romance. Tired of rejection, she’s ready to swear off men. But after being rescued from a horse stampede by the most beautiful cowboy she’s ever met, her resolve wavers. Review:

Woohoo!!!

The Cavanaugh Brothers are BACKKKKK!!

A couple of months ago, I got the chance to review Branded, which is the first book in Laura Wright’s Cavanaugh Brothers series. I absolutely loved it!!! I fell in love with Deacon and Mackenzie and I could not wait to read James and Sheridan’s story! I love series that follow siblings and most of all I love when I can check-in with characters that I absolutely loved.

James and Sheridan can’t deny that when they are both in the same room sparks fly. The attraction that has been building since the moment they met keeps on growing as days go by. James and Sheridan fight their feelings for each other, but how can they fight against something that makes them both feel alive? The past has has a way of catching up with their relationship. Will they be able to heal together and find the happiness that they both deserve?

Oh, my God! Can these Cavanaugh brothers get any hotter?!?!?! Hot Damn! James was a real surprise to me. I was under the impression that he was the quiet one of the brothers, but holy crapola!!! Dirty talker IN DA HOUSE!!!! I can’t blame Sheridan for falling heads over heel in love with the ‘’Horse Whisperer’’. He’s sweet, passionate and ridiculously charming! The chemistry between these two character was HOT!!! I felt their connection from their very first encounter and I never stopped cheering for them to find their well deserved HEA.

James has been through so much and he needed to heal his broken heart. He was living with this guilt that was consuming him. He was scared to give his heart to another woman in fear of not being able to protect her. I loved both these characters! Their banter was addictive and their love story heartwarming! Both these characters had to overcome some insecurities that they had about starting a relationship together.

Overall this book exceeded all of my expectations! Laura Wright has written a beautiful love story about two people who learned to heal together. The mystery behind their little sisters murder is leaving me with no nails!!! The more we advance in this series, the more the pieces of a puzzle everybody wants to solve are starting to come together. I can’t wait for the brothers to find closure with the tragedy that has marked all of their lives. I loved that we got a glimpse about the next couple. I can’t wait to read Cole’s book! His leading lady will drive him nuts!! Eeeeep!! The sexual tension between these two is INTENSE!!!! Is it 2015 yet?? I am sooooo ready for my next reading escape at the Triple C ranch ;)

Review

Woweeee! What an awesome start to Laura Wright's new series!

A few months ago while I was feeding my one-click addiction, I stumbled upon The Wicked Ink Chronicles by Laura Wright. I had never heard of it before. When I finished reading First Ink and Shattered Ink, I knew right away that it would not be my last time reading a book written by Laura Wright. Her stories are captivating, sexy and romantic! The first installment of The Cavanaugh Brothers does not disappoint! It was everything I was expecting and more!

In Branded we follow Deacon Cavanaugh, which is the oldest of the Cavanaugh brothers, and Mackenzie Byrd, who is the Foreman of the Triple C ranch. Mac had a huge crush on Deacon Cavanaugh when she was a teenager. When he comes back to the ranch years later, the crush she once had turned into something more. Deacon wants to destroy the Triple C Ranch, Mac wants to save it. When these two go head-to-head sparks will fly!

Can I just mention that the covers for this series are GORGEOUS! It 100% reflects Deacon. He is sexy, wild,  passionate and confident. He is one hot Alpha male! I absolutely loved him and Mac together. Their chemistry was fantastic and the sexual tension ... Eeeeeep!!!! Oh, and let me tell you something ... Deacon Cavanaugh is one hell of a dirty talker! *Fans Self*

What I loved the most about their relationship is that they did not deny their attraction to each other. He wants her and she wants him. Plain and simple. The battle for the Triple C Ranch was fierce! Deacon wanted to bury the past and start a new journey. Mac wanted to save the place she calls home. It was absolutely amazing to see Mac in action. Once she found out what happened to Deacon she was heartbroken, but that did not stop her. She put her foot down and made him realize what the Triple C Ranch really means. I don't think anybody could have done that. Not even his brothers.

While reading the book we get to read Cassandra's diary. Cassandra Cavanaugh was Deacon, James and Cole's sister and Mac's best friend. Something tragic happened to her and the mystery behind this tragedy is slowly being revealed. I think that by the end of this series we will find out what really happened to her and that justice will be made. I really enjoyed this story. The author did an amazing job at introducing the Cavanaugh brothers. I got a sneak peek into James, Cole and Blue's world and I can't wait to read about them! They are all fascinating and intriguing. I'm extremely curious about Blue's mystery lady. I cannot wait to find out who ''Cowgirl'' is!

Rating

I give, Branded, by Laura Wright 4.5 ardent, seductive, page-turning stars! I highly recommend this amazing new series! These sexy cowboys will have your hearts melting guaranteed! I am sooooooo ready for Branded, which is James and Sheridan's story :)
