Summary
Bliss Carrington has known Jimmy most of her life, since Kindergarten to be exact. He took on the role of the big brother Bliss never had, breaking Bliss out of her shy shell, encouraging her to have fun in high school, and pushing her to live her life. It’s always been friendship between them until one day, she realized, it wasn’t. Now seeing women everywhere swoon over Jim Brason, NFL's head quarterback of the New York Cougars, is enough to drive her to madness.

Jim Brason, an alpha whore, is on a fast track to fame and money. In all this craziness, the one person who keeps him sane, keeps him whole is Bliss. He’s been in love with her since before forever, but she doesn’t know and can never find out. He’s a firm believer that history repeats itself. With his tainted past, he’s afraid he’s fated to hurt her if he allows himself to follow his heart.

Bliss watched this boy grow into a man and it wasn’t fair that someone else would get to keep him when in her heart, she knew he only ever belonged to her.

Can their friendship survive? Can she live pining over a guy who will never commit? She doesn’t want to live like this, but she doesn’t know a life without him either.

EVERYTHING HAS CHANGED is a story of Love, Loss, and Longing for the boy you grew up loving.

The Purest Love Stems From A True Friendship

I first fell in love with Mia Kayla's writing style when I read Marry Me For Money!! I loved Loved loved that story it was right up my alley. I didn't bat an eye twice when I saw she was writing another novel though its completely different from her first book it still made me feel all giddy and happy and on the edge of my seat. Oh and don't get me started on the buckets of tears that I shed!! Lol seriously at least two buckets. Ms. Kayla's writing style is one I've come to love so I will definitely be following her work in the future.

E-vening, one night out with her friend will bring to light many feelings Bliss has been trying to ignore.
V-ice, for as long as she can remember Bliss has loved her best friend.
E-scape, Jim has always relied on Bliss and there isn't anything he wouldn't do for her.
Resenting, Bliss has been driving herself insane recently with all of the self imposed stress.
Y-outh, since the beginning of school Bliss and Jim have been side by side.
T-houghts, when they were younger things were easy the love they shared didn't come with any complications.
H-ope, thoughts of their time together and the electricity they share fill Bliss' mind and heart with maybe someday.
I-nstrumental, life has given Bliss and Jim some difficult times but through it all they have been each others rock.
N-ostalgia, so many things that surround Bliss remind her of Jim but she knows she has to give up and find a way without him.
G-host, when someone from her past comes back and admits certain feelings Bliss dares to take a chance.

H-esitation, Bliss has always had certain quirks and is not like most girls. Her reaction to attention has never been a good one.
A-ssumptions, everyone has always expected certain things from these two but things have recently become more complicated.
S-earching, so many times Bliss and Jim have shared many moments but life keeps creating these perfect pockets where they are on the brink of something more.

C-harged, the thought of Bliss being with someone else drives Jim mad and he will chase the one thing he has always wanted.
H-eartache, reality comes crashing down on these two in the form of Jim's mother so quickly the void is beyond painful.
A-nger, Bliss cannot believe their current situation or why things are turning out the way they are.
N-eglect, life is hardly livable without Jim but Bliss will try as hard as she can to move on.
G-ames, a promise made is a promise kept nothing will ever stop Bliss from being true to her heart.
E-ruption, an earsplitting accident will rip Bliss apart for the last time. Regardless of the capacity she will never deny herself Jim.
D-ream, living in love is so much better than living in fear. Life will have ups and downs but their love has always been a constant and something these two will fight for till their last breath.

Eeeeeeeeep!! This was such a sweet read I devoured it on one fell swoop! I could not STOP!!! Everything Has Changed was told in Bliss' point of view and went from past to present. LOVED THAT!! I felt these two falling in love from the very start and it was a super endearing read. There were a few story lines that I wished would have been tied up a bit further but nothing crazy important so it didn't affect the overall story. Ms. Kayla's characters are super relatable and I just love that. So for a sweet quick read that you won't be able to put down def pick this one up NOW!!

My Rating
4.5 School Bus, GoldFish, Camp, Sleepover, Broken Glass, Prom, Tube Dress, Red Hair, Blonde Hair, 8am, Opening Game, Stretcher, Cab, Father, ESPN, Mother, Blessings, An innocent tender love that develops into so much more LOVE filled STARS!!

Summary
Leaving her small town behind, Bethany Casse moves to Chicago in search of a new life. Working at a top financial bank brings her into contact with two men who are as different as night and day.

Kent Plack, heir to Plack Industries, has no interest in being with a woman for longer than one night. A spoiled and lazy man-whore, he is completely content with his playboy lifestyle, and Beth is surprised when they form an unlikely friendship.

Brian Burcham, a finance banker, is gorgeous and respectful. A man plucked from Beth’s dreams, he is definite husband material. Unfortunately, Beth has a hard rule against dating coworkers, but Brian is determined to change her mind.

When a deadbeat mother and money problems follow her to Chicago, Beth is offered a solution that could fix everything. Marrying for money seems simple enough, but when lines become blurred, Beth faces difficult choices, making her realize that the easy way out just made her life even harder than before.

The Way I See It

Whew that was close…I had a giddy moment when I was like, “sure i’m totally over booked and 5 reviews in one week is a BAD idea”!! 4 is bad enough but 5? Crazy crazy talk!! Then I re-read the synopsis and was like “YOLO bee-yotches!!!” I made the jump, the commitment…Knowing I’d need a head start I snuck this one in as soon as I could…10% wasn’t really feeling the love. The boys, I fell for them right away(no surprise there eh) Not gonna lie I got a little nervous because I was not really feeling beth. She was smart, driven, committed and she’d been through a lot so I understood her but I didn't get the feels…THEN SOMETHING MAGICAL HAPPENED!!! She let go I’m not sure if it was me who let go or Beth let go but I…

Fell.In.Love.

This story propelled forward and swept me away with it!! I loved all of the characters right away, the only person I wasn’t sure about was beth but once she won me over everything took off from there!

M-
istakes, Beth fears doing the wrong thing she has worked too hard for the life she hopes to start now.
A-
lone, being from a small town and not having many people by her side now in Chicago she feels much smaller.
R-
eality, meeting a billionaire will rock her world, for some reason the attraction isn’t the only thing that moves Beth. There is a connection there she doesn’t quite understand.
R-
elief, knowing that her life is in order, accepting Kent’s friendship seems like the best decision.
Y-
esterday, though Beth has tried to put the past behind her it keeps coming back taking claim of her life.

M-
emory, her heart has been shut down but dazzling blue eyes want her to embrace a new opportunity.
E-
venings, finding solace with her new friend, Kent fills holes in Beth’s heart she never knew existed.

F-
orgetting, Beth takes a leap being with Brian makes her happy she finally feels like she can begin a new life.
O-
pportunity, faced with an impossible reality Kent asks Beth something neither of them understands. The next few months will become very confusing. The established lines and connection they once shared will become gray, but something about his family is very comforting.
R-
emorse, Beth has made a promise she cannot take back. She will do what she can to bring back peace and balance to her life, but its too late.

M-
istakes, Brian is hurt, Beth has been selfish but she can’t change the past. Even if she could deep down she knows her decision would remain the same. She may not realize this now but her life is about to change.
O-
pinion, everyone sees the change but Beth cant admit what has been calling to her heart since the beginning.
N-
oises, echoes of pain come barreling forward, Kent saves Beth from a nightmare neither of them realize the worst is yet to come.
E-
mbracing, Kent knows he has made plenty of mistakes but he will do what ever it takes to prove his worth and to prove everyone wrong. His heart beckons him to do what is right, and he will not ignore what he knows he must do.
Y-
earning, Beth has been patient a broken heart takes time to mend. Her life hasn’t been easy, though she’s tried to make all the right choices its all of her actions that have brought her here enveloped in her Nana’s memory. Happy with the way things turned out.

Like I said it took me a bit to warm up to Beth but once she opened up and I got to enjoy the carefree light hearted fun person she truly is, I loved her. This is one of those books that I could see myself reading over and over again. By the time I got to the end I was so invested in these characters I balled and balled. Their pain became my anguish I seriously felt the agony in my stomach. Its so important when an author can do that. A very fun idea I’m glad I was able to forsake sleep for this title as it was quite enjoyable.

My fav’s

Kent

I loved that he was honest. Kind of a jerky face but I knew the moment he fell in love with Beth. I wanted him to shout from the rooftops unfortunately that’s just not his style. Normally a guy like that gets no support from me but I could tell that Kent was scared to let anyone down. His heart was golden from the beginning I found myself cheering him on. Kent’s love for his parents really brought him out in a different light I wanted him to be happy and to take a chance.

Beth

This girlie has worked her butt off all of her life. She will never stop being a hard worker she inspired my guy Kent to take a chance how can you not love that. I’d love to see more from this world about these characters maybe Kendy gets an HEA. Maybe we get to see Beth with a baby and happy happy happy with Kent. Like I mentioned earlier Beth and I had a rocky start but this girl proved to be totally awesome. She had to make a lot of very difficult life decisions and she always stood up to the challenge.

My Rating

4.0 College, New Job, Taco Joint, Bently, Dance Club, Lunch Dates, Marriage Proposal, Amazing Parents, Beautiful Wedding, New York job, not enough, Bank Heist, California Job, Nana’s locket, Linen Dress, Love filled stars!!! This was a GREAT read I highly recommend it!!
