A few months ago I read a book that left me with one freakin' huge book hangover!!! That book was Come to Me Quietly by A.L. Jackson. I had never read one of her books before and after reading the first installment of the Closer to You Series I was HOOKED!!! I don't even remember how I got to work the next day. I read it in one sitting and barely got two hours of sleep that night. I have been waiting for Come to Me Softly to come out since the moment that I closed the last page of Come to Me Quietly. A.L. Jackson's writing style is sublime and I am in love with Aly and Jared. They are one of my top favorite couples of all time!
Come to Me Softly picks up where the first installment left off. If you have not read Come to Me Quietly, I suggest you do before reading Come to Me Softly. Trust me, you will absolutely fall in love with Aly and Jared just like I did! I don't want to give anything away from this book because you absolutely need to feel every single emotion! Aly and Jared's journey to finding their HEA is far from over. Will Jared be able to let go of the past before he loses the most important person in his life?
OMG! What a PHENOMENAL reading escape. I had high expectations for this sequel and A.L. Jackson did not disappoint! Once again I had to grab my virtual dustpan and pick up all the little pieces of my shattered heart! I was an emotional mess after reading this book!!! A.L. Jackson knows exactly how to make us feel every single emotion that her characters are feeling. Aly and Jared's love is breathtakingly beautiful and unforgettable!
Jared had to overcome many obstacles in Come to Me Softly, with the love and support of Aly, he took a step in the right direction. His journey was one of healing and he had to let go of all the dark demons of his past. My heart broke for him in Come to Me Quietly, but in this book?!?!?!?! OMG!!! I can't breathe just thinking about it!!! He deserves Aly's love and everything good that has happened to him. He had such a difficult life and he finally found a person who brought happiness back in his life. I was cheering for their HEA since book one and I am so happy that they overcame all those obstacles together. I loved both of these characters since the moment that I met them in the first book, but in this conclusion to their beautiful journey, they completely stole my heart! I will never forget them!
I loved everything about this book! It had tender, funny, steamy and heartbreaking moments. I did not just read this story ... I felt it from beginning to end! Now, I am anxiously waiting for Christopher's book, which will be out next April. OMG!!! It's so freakin' far away!!! I want this book like YESTERDAY!!! He's hysterical and I love him to pieces!!! I see another book hangover next april... I just know it! ;)

About the Author
A.L. Jackson is the New York Times bestselling author of Take This Regret and Lost to You, as well as other contemporary romance titles, including Pulled, When We Collide, If Forever Comes, and Come to Me Quietly.
She first found a love for writing during her days as a young mother and college student. She filled the journals she carried with short stories and poems used as an emotional outlet for the difficulties and joys she found in day-to-day life.
