by Meghan Quinn Release Date: March 23rd, 2017 Genres: New Adult Romantic Comedy Add to Goodreads Pre-Order Blast Hosted by: WordSmith Publicity Synopsis: What do ice cream and Sadie Montgomery have in common? They're both ice cold, but one taste is never enough. I wanted to be friends — I would have even settled for her seeing me as anything but a nerd — but there was no getting through. So just like any hard-headed, red-blooded man out there, I made up my mind. I’d make my coworker fall for me. I’d like to say it was simple, but like every other epic love story, all it took was one drunken night and a lot of naked courage to get the girl. For a moment, at least. Love with a coworker is never simple, especially since Sadie’s trying to keep us on the low. Not to mention her persistent ex-boyfriend who won’t leave her alone. But I’ve never been good at giving up, and I don’t plan to start now. The whole thing is a recipe for a rocky road, but I plan to eat the whole gallon, no matter how bad the brain freeze.
Born in New York and raised in Southern California, Meghan has grown into a sassy, peanut butter eating, blonde haired swearing, animal hoarding lady. She is known to bust out and dance if "It's Raining Men" starts beating through the air and heaven forbid you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped. Once she started commuting for an hour and twenty minutes every day to work for three years, she began to have conversations play in her head, real life, deep male voices and dainty lady coos kind of conversations. Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down. She decided to go with the cheaper option and started writing... enter her first novel, Caught Looking. Now you can find the spicy, most definitely on the border of lunacy, kind of crazy lady residing in Colorado with the love of her life and her five, furry four legged children, hiking a trail or hiding behind shelves at grocery stores, wondering what kind of lube the nervous stranger will bring home to his wife. Oh and she loves a good boob squeeze!
The Hurricane, #3 by R.J. Prescott Release Date: March 21st, 2017 Genres: New Adult Sports Romance Add to Goodreads Source: Author eARC received in exchange of honest review Synopsis: Marie Kelly is a survivor who doesn’t know when to quit. Against all odds, she’s living a life she never dreamed she could have. It was enough… until a stubborn boxer makes her want more. Irish charmer Kieran Doherty has been a fighter at Driscoll’s Gym for most of his life. He’s been content to let his best friend take the spotlight, now it’s his turn to make a name for himself in the world of heavy weight champions. Falling in love is the one thing he vowed never to do, but meeting Marie changed everything. It’s easy to imagine a happy-ever-after when the sun is shining. But when the storm comes, and all hope seems lost, they both learn that if you want something badly enough, you have to be willing to fight for it.
When I finally plucked up a bit of courage, I peeped out of the curtains to see Kieran throwing stones at the window. “Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair,” he mock shouted, when he caught my eye. I opened the window to whisper loudly back at him. “Are you high?” I asked. “Why didn’t you just ring the doorbell or call me?” “I thought this would be more romantic,” he said. “If I ignore the fact that my nipples probably have frostbite, I am feeling romanced,” I replied. He looked pained. “What’s wrong?” I asked. “You said ‘nipples’ and now I can’t think of anything else,” he replied, making me smile. “Now I’m down here, what’s the chances of seeing an accidental nip slip?” he asked. “Depends,” I replied. “On what?” he asked. “What’s in the bag?” I said. “Hot chocolate and warm doughnuts,” he said, holding up the bag as if to barter. “Well, I would have said slim to none, but fresh doughnuts might have just tipped the odds in your favour,” I replied. “Yesss!” he said, fist bumping the air in victory. I closed the window and ran to buzz him in. He bounded up the stairwell, his heavy footsteps echoing loudly in the hallway. When he got to my door, he looked me up and down, taking in my short royal blue, silk pyjamas. Dropping the sack, he speared his hands into my hair and pulled me into a kiss that had me melting. Kier didn’t kiss with just his lips; he did it with his whole body. Without shoes on, I was tiny in comparison, but inside of the cage of his huge arms, I felt protected and safe. Despite his size, his lips were so gentle. He didn’t treat me like I was fragile, but like I was precious, as though every touch was one that he was experiencing for the first time and memorizing for later. Feeling bold, I traced the seam of his mouth with my tongue, and when he parted his lips and touched his tongue against mine, I groaned. Every sensation was too much, and not enough. Breathless, he pulled away from me to nuzzle his face in the crook of my neck. I reached up and gently stroked the short hair at the back of his neck, making him sigh.
Many readers have a place they call home in Book Town. Driscoll’s Gym is a place I call home. R.J. Prescott created a place where the characters are much more than just characters. They are a part of my life and it always brings a smile to my face to reunite with them. I have waited more than a year to reunite with this amazing crew and the author gave me a reunion that left me gasping for air! If you are not familiar with The Hurricane Series, you are seriously missing out! R.J. Prescott did a phenomenal job with the first two installments. The Storm is such an amazing addition to this wonderful series. You don’t need to read the first two books to enjoy Marie and Kieran`s book. It can be read as a standalone, but I highly suggest that you don’t skip Emily and Cormac’s incredible love story. It’s such a beautiful and emotional reading journey. The Storm was an unputdownable book and the only reason I actually put it down was to message the author. I needed to stop reading and let her know what this story was doing to me. Marie and Kieran’s love story captivated me from the very beginning. At the end of the Prologue, tears were making an appearance. Marie and Kieran both had obstacles to overcome through the years. The past has left Kieran's heart scarred and he’s not ready to embark on the train that will lead him to the road called LOVE. Getting attached to somebody is too dangerous and he’s trying to always keep his distance. Until Marie Kelly enters his life. He’s determined to break all his rules if it means keeping her by his side. At the Driscoll Gym, you fight for what you want. Kieran wants Marie and no matter the obstacle that will come their way, Kieran will do whatever it takes to win this ultimate fight that will bring him one step closer to a HEA with Marie. It was very difficult for me to write this review. I can’t even put into words what this reading escape did to me. It was EVERYTHING!!!! I cried buckets of tears and felt every single moment of Marie and Kieran's love story. At one point of the story, I thought that my heart was going to burst! It was difficult to continue reading because I was crying so much. I don't want to give anything away because I want everybody to have an incredible reading journey just like I did. Marie and Kieran are two phenomenal characters that will have you cheering for them from beginning to end! They have an incredible chemistry and each moment that they share together will give you all the feels! Kieran was such a fantastic hero. He took care of Marie like his life depended on it and his love for her was absolutely heart-melting! Marie was such a strong and confident heroine. She's a true warrior and I loved how she opened her heart to Kieran and gave him a first-class seat on the Love Train. It was a pleasure to reunite with the rest of the cast of characters from this series. Like always, Danny was hilarious. No shenanigans allowed in his gym! lol!!! The supporting cast of characters in this series is out of this world!!! A supporting character in this series is getting his book next and I`m extremely excited to get my hands on his story. It will be EPIC!! I know it in my heart that R.J. Prescott will give him a story that we will never forget!
I give, The Storm, by R.J. Prescott, 5 phenomenal, unforgettable, emotional, romantic, captivating stars!

Synopsis: Ashes to ashes. Dust to dust. And all that fucking shit. I had killed. I had sacrificed. The innocent and the corrupt. I knew blood and I knew violence. Never imagining I could know love too. Mia Ryder was a woman to love. To cherish. To fucking claim. Now, forever, and every day in between. Even if meant, going to war with… My fucking brother.
“Don’t fuck with me, Noah. I gotta enough fuckin’ bullshit to deal with. Don’t need your shit, too.” “Tell me, Creed… she’s yours right?” he questioned, narrowing his eyes at me. “Then what’s her favorite color?” I jerked back like he had hit me. Knowing exactly where he was going with this. “Time’s up. It’s pink. How about her middle name? Don’t remember?” he mocked, cocking his head to the side. “They wanted to name her Savannah after her grandmother who died of cancer. She never even got to meet her. But instead it’s Alexandra, after her momma. Why don’t you tell me her favorite thing to eat? Or drink? Favorite book? Or movie? How about you tell me anythin’ that doesn’t include what she sounds like when she’s fuckin’ gettin’ off?” “You little shit! Congrats, Noah, on knowin’ some trivial bullshit. I know what shes’s feelin’ by just lookin’ at her. I know what she’s thinkin’ without her sayin’ one goddamn word to me. And fuck yeah, I know how she likes to be touched, kissed, fucked and I’d rather be the man who knows all that, plus how to fuckin’ get her off,” I snarled, stepping up to him again. He didn’t cower, if anything he stood taller. “Who the fuck you think you are, Noah?” “The right man for her, that’s who.” “Is that right? So what, you tellin’ me you love her? You love Mia?”
There was no hesitation with his response, when he clearly replied with, “Yeah, Creed. I fuckin’ do.” “Don’t start a war you can’t fuckin’ win, baby brother.” “Consider this my breach.” I nodded slowly, backing away. Taking everything in while battling the urge to lay him the fuck out. The lines were drawn now. Each of us on the opposite side for the first time in all our lives but if there was anyone I would go to hell and back for it was Mia Ryder. Even if it meant going to war with... My fucking brother.
