Synopsis:

One handywoman.

One single dad.

One set of twins.

And the wall isn’t the only thing being drilled…

I learned the hard way that being a handywoman isn’t easy. The questions, the stares—the assumption I’m the proud owner of a cock and balls. Not that it matters. I’ve proven over and over that I’m ready for anything the judgmental asses throw at me.

Except the hot, single dad of twins who just moved to town.

Brantley Cooper gets the shock of his life when I show up on his doorstep to fix up his kids’ new rooms. His son is confused why ‘the pretty lady has a drill,’ and his daughter has a new obsession—me.

On paper, my job is easy. Go in, do their bedrooms, and leave.

In theory, I’m spending eight hours a day with a guarded, sexy as hell guy, and I’m staying for dinner more often than I’m eating it alone, on my couch, with Friends re-runs. I shouldn’t be staying for dinner.

I shouldn’t be helping him out with the twins. I shouldn’t be falling in love with tiny toes and dimpled cheeks.

And I most definitely should not be kissing my client.

Oops…

Review:

Miss Fix-It is a standalone romantic comedy that will completely steal your heart! Emma Hart wrote a fantastic story for Kali and Brantley. From the moment that I found out that this story was about a single dad and a handywoman, I knew I had to read it. It was nice to read a story where the roles are reversed. I have mostly read books about single moms so it was awesome to read about Brantley and his twins.

In Miss Fix-It we follow Kali Hancock and Brantley Cooper’s journey. Kali takes her handywoman job seriously. When she gets a call from Brantley Cooper, the last thing she expected was to get mixed up with the beautiful chaos that is the Cooper family. As days go by, Kali gets comfortable in their home. She is mesmerized by Brantley and his twins. Staying professional is the logical thing to do. Fix their house and move on. Except her heart has other plans. Is she ready to break her rules for the Coopers?

The chemistry between Kali and Brantley was fun, intense, hot and mesmerizing. I had the biggest smile during the entire time I was reading their story. They have such a beautiful bond that kept on growing with each day that they shared together. This story is a total #SwoonFest.

Mr. Brantley Cooper absolutely won a top spot on my ‘’Masters of Swoon’’ list. He was such a lovable, sexy, compassionate and confident hero. Every single scene that he shared with his twins melted my heart a little more. He is such a wonderful dad. I loved how he solved problems to keep his little family united. The kids have a wonderful role model and with the addition of Kali, their little hearts are fuller of joy and love. Hilarious moments guaranteed with the twins, but also heart-warming ones as well.

Kali was a wonderful, strong, confident heroine that kept me cheering for her from beginning to end. I loved the way she related to Ellie and Elijah. The bond she created with these kids was heart-melting. They made her step out of her comfort zone. Never in her wildest dreams did she think she would connect with kids. I absolutely loved how she slowly fell for this entire family. She tried to deny her feelings for Brantley, but you simply cannot silence the heart when it speaks.

This story was a fantastic reading escape! I highly recommend Miss Fix-It if you want to read your first Emma Hart book. You will absolutely fall in love with her amazing writing style and her captivating characters. Not only does she write lovable and unforgettable main characters, but the supporting cast of characters grab your attention and never let you go! Especially the twins. OMG!! I’m so over the moon in love with them!!! I’m crossing my fingers that Jayda, which is Kali’s best friend will get her own story. She is hilarious!!!

Rating:

I give, Miss Fix-It, by Emma Hart, 4.5 fun, swoony, sexy, heart-melting, falling for the Coopers stars!

About the Author:

By day, New York Times and USA Today bestselling New Adult author Emma Hart dons a cape and calls herself Super Mum to two beautiful little monsters. By night, she drops the cape, pours a glass of whatever she fancies—usually wine—and writes books.

Emma is working on Top Secret projects she will share with her followers and fans at every available opportunity. Naturally, all Top Secret projects involve a dashingly hot guy who likes to forget to wear a shirt, a sprinkling (or several) of hold-onto-your-panties hot scenes, and a whole lotta love.

She likes to be busy—unless busy involves doing the dishes, but that seems to be when all the ideas come to life.
