Review:

Flow is the prequel to Grip. You absolutely need to read this story to follow Bristol and Grip’s all-consuming journey that continues in Grip, which is the full-length book. My twinsie has been talking about her love for this couple for a few months now. I’m so glad I got a chance to finally meet them. She was right. They are completely mesmerizing and unforgettable!

It only took a few days for Grip to fall for Bristol Gray. His best friend's little sister should be off-limits, but he simply cannot deny the attraction and feelings he has towards her. A beautiful friendship bloomed because of the first moments that they shared. The main goal of Bristol's trip was to reconnect with her brother. The last thing she expected was for Marlon "Grip" James to turn her world upside down in such a short time. Will Bristol and Grip give their love a chance or will they remain friends?

I really loved how the author packed so much feels in this novella. I felt like I really knew the characters by the end of this book. Their chemistry was intense and intoxicating. When Bristol and Grip are in the same room, you can absolutely feel the attraction between them. They have the most fascinating conversations and I learned so much about them. This novella is an introduction to their story and the author did a phenomenal job with providing us with pages filled with intense, gripping and unforgettable moments between these two amazing characters.

Like in any book that I read, I want the supporting cast of characters to steal my heart as well. The story is so much more complete when supporting characters bring a little dash of awesomeness to the story. This is my first time reading a book by Kennedy Ryan. I look forward to continuing Bristol and Grip’s journey and to read her other books as well. Her writing style is fascinating!

Rating:

I give, Flow, by Kennedy Ryan, 4.5 captivating, amazing, must read stars!

Synopsis:

Resisting an irresistible force wears you down and turns you out.

I know.

I’ve been doing it for years.

I may not have a musical gift of my own, but I’ve got a nose for talent and an eye for the extraordinary.

And Marlon James – Grip to his fans – is nothing short of extraordinary.

Years ago, we strung together a few magical nights, but I keep those memories in a locked drawer and I’ve thrown away the key.

All that’s left is friendship and work.

He’s on the verge of unimaginable fame, all his dreams poised to come true.

I manage his career, but I can’t seem to manage my heart. It’s wild, reckless, disobedient.

And it remembers all the things I want to forget.

Review:

After reading Flow, which is the prequel to Grip, I knew that Bristol and Grip’s love story was going to be intense, passionate and all-consuming! The prequel left me wanting more of this couple and gave me all the feels that I usually get when I read a full-length book. I knew without a doubt that the author would exceed all of my expectations in this book.

I don’t want to give too many details about this installment because every single moment that happens in Bristol and Grip’s relationship creates an even stronger bond between the reader and the characters. What I will tell you is that this book does not pick up where Flow left off. A few years have passed from those unforgettable moments that they created together. Bristol is now Grip’s manager, but what she really wants is to be able to control her heart. Bristol is fighting a huge battle when it comes to her feelings for Grip. The more time they spend together, the more her feelings create a chaotic melody in her heart. Will they be able to overcome the obstacles that are keeping them apart and find a way to a HEA?

I loved reuniting with Bristol and Grip. Their connection and chemistry is even stronger than before. They have changed so much from the first time I met them in Flow. Their love story is one of the most beautiful, romantic and passionate love stories that I have read. This book was filled with many mesmerizing and unforgettable moments.

Grip was once again a hero that made my heart melt. He’s such a beautiful person inside and out. The way he loves Bristol is absolutely amazing! When he speaks, I get chills. His words are so powerful and they touch your soul. It was fantastic to reunite with the supporting cast of characters and meet new characters as well. The author did a phenomenal job with this story. It was everything and more that I wished for Bristol and Grip. This is a story that will linger with me for a long time.

Rating:

I give, Grip, by Kennedy Ryan, 4.5 passionate, stellar, fascinating, romantic stars!
