Sawyer Bennett is an author that guarantees her readers a good story. I automatically read a book when I see her name on it. Sugar Daddy is somewhat different than the other stories that she has written. Whereas her other stories are strictly contemporary romance, this story adds a ton of suspense and has you biting your nails, as you wait to see how everything will unfold.
In Sugar Daddy, we meet the main character, Sela Halstead. She has trouble in her relationships as far as intimacy is concerned. Sela cannot find pleasure in physical acts, due to the fact that her innocence was taken when she was violently gang raped at the age of sixteen. When Sela see's one of the men that raped her on a television commercial, the thought for vengeance begins to take root.
The man that took her innocence and forever ruined her chances at true intimacy is Jonathan "JT" Townsend. He is now a successful multi-millionaire and the co-owner of The Sugar Bowl, a matchmaking service that puts older well-off "Sugar Daddies" with "Sugar Babies," young and beautiful women interested in men with money.
Sela gives herself a complete make-over and signs herself up to be a "Sugar Baby." However, instead of attracting the attentions of J.T., Sela attracts his business partner, Beckett North. The plot thickens, when Sela makes the decision to use Beckett as a means to learn more about J.T. However, plans go awry when Sela see's what a good man Beckett is, and begins to fall in love with him....
Sugar Daddy had me on the edge of my seat, especially at the end! Wow, what a cliffhanger! The way Ms. Bennett ended the story was excruciating, and has me dying to read the next installment. While Sugar Daddy is very different from Ms. Bennett's previous books, it is no less entertaining, sensual, and tantalizing! What a great read!!!

I am eagerly anticipating the next story in the Sugar Bowl Series, Sugar Rush! This series promises to be fantastic, if I am to base it on this first book! For readers who love a great romantic suspense, filled with erotica, and entertaining characters, check out Sugar Daddy!
