Hello, my name is Michelina, but everybody calls me Mikki ;)
I am a child of the 80's who lives in Canada. My husband Robert is the person who found the melody to my heart (I found him on a blind date ... Best decision of my life!) We got married in 2007. I get the occasional eye roll when I talk about my BBF, but he approves of my passion ;)
I work with numbers all day, when I get home, I can't wait to escape with a great book. I started reading way back when I was in high school.
Twilight was the series that made me step out of my comfort zone. Like many readers FSOG made me discover a whole new world of amazing authors and books. My ereader started getting pretty busy after that.
I love cooking, baking and .... Zumba®! I love Zumba® so much that I became an Instructor in 2011. I attended my first Zumba® Convention last year in Orlando and I loved it! I had to put Zumba® on the side, because I got injured (torn meniscus) and had knee surgery last September.
I'll be forever grateful to the author that saved me from a really bad rehabilitation period: Elizabeth Reyes. Her books filled my heart with so much joy. When I read one of her books I feel like I go back to visit my family. I hope to meet her really soon :)
From the moment I discovered all these amazing bloggers and authors I share my passion daily with my book besties. I even found my book twin at A bookish Escape: Lindy!
I'm so happy that the girls asked me to join their family. It's an honor to be a part of such a great blog. I look forward to sharing my passion for books with you all.
