My Thoughts:

Trust Me, Book One is the first part of Matty and Kayla's story, in The McDaniels Brothers Serial.  Matty is the oldest of the McDaniels brothers, and has always been the brother to shoulder the responsibility of his younger brothers, Bash and Reid, and put them first, even above his own best interests.  Matty has made a deal with, Mickey Flynn, a corrupt mobster.  Now, Matty is locked in to a one year contract fighting the MMA circuit for Mickey, in exchange for Mickey getting his brother, Bash, a fight that will launch his boxing career.

Kayla, works for Mickey, and feels loyalty towards him, because he is the only person that has ever been there for her in her very difficult life.  She has a passion for MMA fighting, and wants to be a fighter herself one day.  When she is given the task by Mickey to manage Matty's career, she is disappointed at first.  However, she starts thinking about this job as an opportunity to prove herself, and be a part of something big.  When Kayla and Matty meet, sparks fly, but they don't trust one another.  As they get to know each other, their attraction grows stronger, as they see just how much they have in common, and grow to have mutual respect for one another.  However, Kayla is hiding an important secret from Matty.  Then to top it off, Mickey, changes the game, and Kayla knows when she tells Matty, he is going to hate her forever...

The McDaniels Brothers Serial Series is a must read!  I loved Bash and Olivia's story, but I have a feeling that I am going to love Matty and Kayla's story even more!  I love Kayla's character.  She has had a very tough life, and yet she's strong, sassy, independent, and assertive.  She also has a very sweet and vulnerable side to her.  I also love how loyal Matty is with his brothers.  Even though he doesn't always make the smartest decisions, everything he does comes with their best interests at heart.  Matty has come off as having such a large protective wall surrounding him, that it was really nice to finally see someone getting past it.  I can't wait to see what happens next between Matty and Kayla.  I am so worried about these too, and don't want Mickey to come in-between them, but I don't see how they are going to be able to be together.  I give, Trust Me, Matty and Kayla Book One, by Christine Bell, 4.5 Suspenseful, Longing, Passionate, Rooting For Matty and Kayla Filled Stars!!!

Lindy's Thoughts:

Fix You, Bash and Olivia Book Three, was a stunning conclusion to their story!  This serial has been addicting, and exceptional from beginning to end!  I cannot recommend it enough!  In the third installment, Bash is caught in a hard spot when he is strong armed by mobster, Mickey, in to  taking an underground fight where anything goes.  Olivia and Matty are determined to stop the fight before it even begins, because not only can Bash be severely injured, but it could cost him his chance at a real boxing career.  The plot thickens in this installment as Bash and Olivia have to go face to face with Andy, Olivia's abusive ex-boyfriend, and the secrets Bash keeps to try to protect Olivia threaten their relationship.  Ms. Bell sure can write sexy! This story was filled with passion, steamy sensuality, and a beautiful romance.  To top it off, we get suspense, danger, and a page turner that you will now want to put down!  I give this installment 4 "You don't want to miss this," Bold, Brazen, "Bax is a hottie" Filled Stars!  Read this serial, it's simply amazing!!!

Wow!  This serial series is MAJORLY addicting!  I just can't get enough!!!  Here I just finished Part 2, and I am dying to get Part 3 of Bash and Olivia's story in my hands.  When I came to the last page, I was like, "No!!!"  I was so sad that it had ended.  Bash and Olivia's story is intense!  I don't mean intense in the sense of being overly dramatic or melodramatic.  I mean intense as in highly suspenseful, passionate, great characters, and a thrilling plot that continues to thicken, as one thing after another occurs, and just when you think nothing else can happen, it does!  There are so many twists, turns and surprises in this story, and I could not turn pages fast enough!!!

I highly, highly, recommend Bash and Olivia's story!  It's one of those stories that hooks you immediately, and you find yourself completely taken in.  Part two begins right where part one left off. Bash is in jail, and Olivia is trying to get money to bail him out.  His brother Matty hates her, and blames her for his brother being behind bars.  Things take an interesting turn for Olivia, Bash, and Matty in book 2.  The suspense continues to build, and the book leaves you begging for more!

I give, Fix You, Bash and Olivia Book Two, by Christine Belle, 4 Fantastic,  Fast-Paced, Frenzy Filled Stars!  Add this serial to your TBR list for a great romance, with lots of passion, suspense, and plot twists!  These installments are perfect to read in one sitting, and you will not be able to get enough of Bash and Olivia's story!

Ro's Take on this Journey:

Fix You, by Christine Belle, is the second book in The McDaniels Brothers Serial.  Let me say, that this novella is hot!  From the first time I saw the cover of the first installment, I knew I had to get my hands on this series.  Ms. Belle has written a fast paced, well orchestrated story of the Mc Daniels brothers, their beginnings, troubled past, and repercussions that bring out the best and the worst in each and everyone of them.

This book takes off where the first installment ends.  Olivia and Matty are each on their own hunt for money to bail Bash out of jail.  Matty, not even giving Olivia a chance, blames her for coming between his brother, Bash, and his dreams.  Bash has unjustly been put behind bars for defending Olivia, while working as a bouncer at a bar, from her abusive boyfriend, Andrew.  He is from a rich family, and always gets what he wants.

This story is a thrill ride, filled with so much sexual tension, animal magnetism, pain and disappointments for Bash, and he just starts to let Olivia in, when everything starts going wrong.  Olivia has troubles of her own, but keeps them to herself.  This serial is like a wind swept romance, full of intrigue, mystery, and dangerous people.

Matty makes some bad choices that could jeopardize what he and his brothers have worked so hard to create.  Don't miss out on this serial.  The third episode comes out this month, and I can't wait to get my hands on it!

My Thoughts:

Are you looking for a sexy, and addictive new read?  Well, look no further!  The McDaniels Brothers Serial Series promises to be that and more!!!  Come and meet the sexy, drop dead gorgeous, and "panty melting," Sebastian (Bash) McDaniels!  He lives with his two brothers Mattias (Matty) and Reid in a small apartment in Boston.  The brothers live life by their motto, "Keep your eye on the prize."  "The prize" being for all of them to make it out of Boston, and for Bash to become a professional boxer.  Coming from a broken home, and then the foster care system, these brothers are super tight, and the only family that they have is each other.

Olivia (Liv) come from vas wealth, and has never wanted for anything.  However, her world is crumbling apart when she learns that her family is losing everything.  She doesn't know how she's going to continue paying for college past the next semester.  Her boyfriend, Andy, has been acting strange lately, and he has gotten violent with her when he's become intoxicated.  One night, when Liv, and Andy go out, he gets jealous and starts being abusive.  He drags her to the women's restroom, and starts choking her.  Bash is working that night and lays Andy out with a single punch.  This is the second time during the night that Liv and Bash have interacted, and it's obvious that they shaw an attraction.  When Liv asks Bash to teach her self defense, things get heated in more way then one, and will never be the same for this two!

Fix You, Bash and Olivia Book One, flew by!  This story was sexy, addictive, and completely pulled me in.  It ended in a to be continued, and I am very exited because part two comes out April 30th!  The ending just about killed me!  I want to strangle, the pompous, self-entitled, narcissistic, and abusive Andy!  I need Bash and Liv to get their happily ever after.  This first part was like a great pilot to a new TV show that gets you hooked, and then you need to wait till the next episode to get some more answers!  One thing is for certain.  I will be waiting and counting down the days until I get to read part 2!  This serial is very promising, and I have a feeling that I will be devouring every single book in this series!  I give Fix You, Bash and Olivia, 4 All Consuming, Sex Personified, Bash Filled Stars!
